Me love you long time!

The last 3 weeks have been busy and crazy. When we got back to our house, after it was aired out all weekend, it was messy! We brought all of our stuff in the house and decided that we had way to much and our house was a little cluttered. So Eve spent the next week trying to organize, and down size our "stuff". After cleaning out everything we decided to have a yard sale. Man was it fun! We got pretty nervous at first because we didn't have any lookers for the first hour or so, but since we live so close to the mall, it only took time and we had great success!Wes wasn't very excited to sit outside all day on the first football Saturday of the year. But he managed to sneak it in here and there and still did a great job selling our stuff.

Wes started school the week before the Yard sale and already had a lot of homework. In his last year of Law School he is taking Basic Estate Planning, Civil Trial Practice, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Development, and Land Use Planning. He is also participating in Moot court again this year. It looks like it is going to be a very busy year for his last year of Law school.

Eve got to go to lunch with her girlfriends from Men's Wearhouse, and their babies. None of them work there anymore but still reminisced about the good ole days. They had so much fun hanging out that they planned to hang out again the next week.
Little did we know that there was a nasty bug going around town. Addy was the first to get it in our family. Eve and Addy were getting ready to leave and take Wes some lunch over to the school. Eve was just finishing up the lunches when Addy was acting very strange. Eve didn't know what to do so she picked up Addy and held her close. That is when it happened. (If you have a week stomach you probably shouldn't read this next part because you might not be able to handle it.) Eve picks up Addy to console her when all of the sudden Addy just starts throwing up all over. The worst part is that it went in Eve's face and all the way down her shirt. Eve just stood there not knowing what to do, and poor Addy was just crying and crying. So Eve calls Wes and cried on his voicemail that she wasn't coming and that Addy was sick. Wes couldn't understand Eve's sobbing message so he called and was on his way home, (he guessed something wasn't right.) Eve had to put Addy and herself straight to the tub and wash up. Eve didn't feel good from that time until a few days later. She didn't get what Addy had but Wes did! The day after the Addy incident Wes was sick all day and last 12 pounds. Needless to say, it wasn't a very good week. Finally by the weekend we all felt better and we were able to have fun.

Saturday Eve and Addy meet up with Eve's friend Kate and went to the Women's Expo at Utah Valley University. A womens expo is a bunch of local businesses that buy a booth and then tries to sell whatever they have, to you. Some things were cool and others were strange but over all we had a great time and didn't buy anything but got some great ideas to make things on our own.
That night we headed up to Lehi for Addy's friend 1st birthday party, and to spend the night at Wes's parents house. While we were getting ready to leave and were packing up somethings, Addy was getting in to trouble. We had packed up some food to take with us, which included a tomato. We had put a bag on the floor while we got some other stuff to go and Eve looks over at Addy who is bitting into the nice, big, juicy tomato. She stuck her fingers in it too, for a better hold on it.








At the party Addy spoted out her friends little walker and didn't let go of it the whole time unless there was a balloon she had to get. She was so funny just tromping around the whole time. We knew we had to get one for her because it was really helping her walk better. SO Eve bought one for her later on in the week so she could practice.
So this last week Eve and Addy were busy taking walks, and playing ALLLLLLL day. Addy's favorite part of the day is when Wes comes home from school. She gets so excited she doesn't know what to do, so she just throws herself forward so he can get her. When Wes isn't busy with school he loves to chase Addy all over the house. She loves this and goes crazy trying to keep up and tries to chase Wes too.
Addy took her first steps on Friday September 12 at 1pm mts. Opa (german for grandpa) Smith was holding Addy up walking with her and told her to go to her mama. So she did! Just 3 little steps, but it is a start! She is standing by herself a lot more and has really good balance. She is such a fun little girl!
Saturday, Wes went to the BYU stomping of UCLA and then that night we went to the Laytons to watch OSU. We aren't going to mention anything else about the game because it was embarrassing.
