Soccer

Addy is a very well rounded girl. She loves her girlie stuff, (nails painted, ballet, making up dances). She loves her academics (counting, ABC's, reading to her animals, painting and drawing). And now her new love is SOCCER. I was not sure how she would like it and it does take her a while to warm up to new things. This was no exception. She loved it for 10 minutes and then told me she was tooooo tired and thought that maybe if she went over to the playground for a while it would help her play soccer later. Well that did not fly with me so I told her if she was to tired we should go home and nap. She did not like that idea at all. Her couch came over and got her and made her play...best thing that ever happened! They had to play Duck Duck Goose and if you got picket you had to run up to a ball and kick it in the net. She loved it!!

Later that night, after her first day of soccer, we went to Chuckie Cheese, because Addy worked hard at another goal she finally accomplished. At bed time I asked her what her favorite part of the day was and she said "Kicking a goal." I was kind of taken back by this because we had just gotten home from CHUCKIE CHEESE! I said "Really, that was your favorite part?" She replied "Yep."
She is super funny and probably worlds best kid. Obviously every parent says this but it is really true with her!

The wedding

My best friend got married on the 25th of September in Mesa AZ. Of course I had to be there. My doctor on the other had was a little iffy on the idea of traveling 8 months pregnant but gave me the ok. So we packed up the van and headed down to AZ. I had the best spot in the van, way in the back, feet propped up and got to watch movies with Addy.
We got there and stayed with my other BF's parents and had a great time. Addy loved it there, pool, lots of snacks, dogs and lots of kids and toys to play with.
The next morning we woke up, went for a swim, got ready and headed to the Mesa temple for the ceremony. It was 107 degrees out so after the wedding we had a brief period of pictures where everyone was melting and decided to go straight to the luncheon at Rosa's Mexican Grill (YUM).

We got home around 3:30 Addy feel fast asleep, I changed my clothes into the bridesmaids dress and went on over to help set up for the reception.
A funny thing that happened: The center piece for the tables were these tall square glass vases, that had black rocks int hem and some flowers. There was also some little fish in them. The man that was putting the fish in put 2-3 fish in each vase. While we were getting pictures taken the man yells out "Hey guys come look at this! This fish just had babies!" There were like 6 or so babies in the vase! It was pretty funny.
It was beautiful! We had a fun time, we were very entertained and pretty swollen by the end of the night. I was sad that I had to leave a little early because I just could not stand (or sit) anymore.

I went back home, Addy and Wes were on their way to bed, I went and soaked in the pool, took a shower, went to bed and left in the morning.
It was a very quick trip but I am so glad that we went.

Three 3's

I would have to say that Adelade is probably the luckiest girl alive. When my parents were here we decided to have a mini birthday party for her so they could celebrate with her and get to see her open her present. She got a great present and I think her face was priceless. She got a Jessie the cowgirl!
Right after she opened her Jessie she said. I am older now and I don't need to wear a pull-up to bed anymore, (she didn't need to for a while but wanted to). Anyway She has not had one on since.


My Aunt gave me a really good idea. She told me that she had a friend that took a picture of her kids on their birthday the minute they woke up. Even though no one really likes to have their picture taken that early I love the idea and have done it every year.

The day of her birthday she got to open her present from Oma and Opa. It was a Buzz Lightyear. She was just as excited as opening her Jessie.

We had a very busy day on her birthday. She went to preschool, and to dance and then got to celebrate with her mom and dad, which got her another cool present. Woody and Bullseye. She was in Cowgirl heaven.
The next celebration was on the weekend in between conference sessions. It was with her friends at the park. I think the best part is that we limited it to an hour which made it so nice for the parents and kids. We had play time, then a sack race, then a running race, cupcakes, and presents. Addy even went and played on the sprayground, until her skirt was so wet it would not stay up anymore! She asked for certain things for her party: the skirt, party hats, friends and a race. She got them all.

Preschool

I keep forgetting to take pictures at preschool and last week I finally busted out the camera during play time. Not everyone is in the picture, there are a few boys missing. This is a Free preschool taught at our community club house on Tuesday mornings. We as parents are responsible for preparing a lesson, story time, snack time, and clean-up. We all take turns with one thing a week and we also have time off to either be there or be on the grounds somewhere. Addy loves it more than anything that she does, I think.

Dance Mania on video

Yes I know that they are all sideways but I have no idea how to turn these blessed videos around. These videos are a must see unless you already know the Guacamole dance, the diaper dance, the naked dance and the ice cream dance. I am not sure how she does it but Addy knows every dance and sometimes they are longer or shorter but they always are the same. Each dance is an Addy original.
Guacamole Dance: probably my favorite one since she sings it every time she eats Guacamole. I love that she tries to teach it to people but they just can't get it quite right (even if you do have it down right she would not tell you that you did, she will just make you do it over and over) . This dance was made up in Cedar City, Utah in August.

Diaper Dance: Inspired by Signing time videos, this dance is the oldest one that she does. Even though she does not wear diapers now, she thinks it is funny because some kids still wear them.

Naked Dance: This dance is not done every day but when she is in the mood, after bath, shower or just changing her clothes the dance is done for all to see (or just mom and dad).


Ice Cream Dance: When you get to eat ice cream, you should dance!

Ballet Class

Addy was really excited about her ballet class. She kept doing these weird moves and then would say "I'm going to do that in Ballet." She was also very cute in her first class.
