Owens blessing

We had Owens blessing the weekend of Thanksgiving. It was the easiest thing since my family was already here. Then Oma and Opa came down on Saturday. We went out to eat to Famous Daves and then came back to the house to chat. Went to bed.

The next morning was Sunday. Wes did a fantastic job giving the blessing. Thankfully a mystery lady wrote it down for us. Owen and Wes had matching ties.

After the blessing we went home for some lunch. And for more pictures.

Then it was time to take my sister to the airport.

We were so lucky to have both grandparents and my sister here for Owens blessing.

November 8th -Thanksgiving

My Mom came to help and see baby O on November 8th. It was good with both Grandmas that they could take her to her activities and I could stay with the baby. Preschool, Dance, soccer, and just park time.
Namma and Addy had fun reading, playing shopping and taking naps. Owen had fun crying, sleeping, eating, being held, taking baths and getting his diaper changed.
Here are some pictures:

Addy even got to meet Batman! How lucky is she!

Then my dad came. Addy and Papa had fun watching moving, taking naps, reading and playing whatever Addy wanted.

Then it was Thanksgiving day and my sister came! YAY! We decided this year to make it easy we would go to a buffet. We did some research and decided to go to the Mirage Buffet. We thought it would be easier, no dishes, no cooking, just yummy food, full bellies and we could focus more on family. Most of that was true. We did not think that it would be busy in Thanksgiving day but man oh man it was. We sacrificed 45 minutes of eating standing in line waiting to get in. I personally will take the 45 minutes standing over cooking forever but others may disagree. The food was fantastic. Butternut squash ravioli, Turkey both oven roasted and smoked, pumpkin soup, and every dessert you could imagine. I'm not sure how I missed getting a picture of this day but I did.
Here are some other pictures of that weekend.

We had tons of fun and I am so glad that my whole family came for Thanksgiving. It has been 7 years since the Gaston clan have been together so we are so thankful we did.

Aidan and Riley came to town.

We had visitors on November 5, 6, and 7th...The Clark family. We really enjoyed having them here. Addy was in love with the fact that her cousins were coming to town. We actually sang that in place of Santa Claus for 2 days until they arrived!
The kids played and played. The adults talked and held Owen. We went to 3 parks. Yellowstone park at in our neighborhood. We went to see the Mermaid, get food and then play at the Exploration park in our neighborhood. Then on Saturday we went to Red Rock National Park and visited the visitor center, we were going to do a short hike and picnic but Owen was having a rough time so the Smith Family had to bail!
We were so glad that they came! We had a great time. Here are some great pictures of our day at Red rock. To get all three kids looking and smiling at the same time was also an adventure.
