WREATH FOR ALL SEASONS / CQC#51 & Mojo #157...

Time for a new colourQ challenge!!! I love the colors this week, they seem so versatile!

I used the Mojo sketch this week, it was fun & funky, just like these colors, so I really enjoyed making this card - yeah, like I don't enjoy every card I make - lol!

I used Crystal Effects on the berries - I saw my sweet friend Lori do that a couple days ago, so it popped into my head when I was trying to 'finish' the card off!

EXCITING NEWS...

Months and months ago I got an email from an editor at Creating Keepsakes - they wanted to do a spotlight on the colourQ! It's one of those things that seems sorta too-good-to-be-true, so I didn't want to get my hopes up too much...

BUT HERE IT IS!!! How SUPER COOL is THAT?!? It's on page 16... I haven't gotten my issue yet, but one of our awesome DT members, Sylvia did & she was so sweet to send me a pic of it! I hate she wasn't on the team when they took the screenshot!

If you haven't played with us, we would love for you to! Next week will be our one year anniversary!

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND / USSIS #73 & mdc #49...

One of the more happy things I do some days is pull out my Copics and color, color, color! I just got this image last week from Mo Manning, called Prince Edward Island... isn't it gorgeous?

I decided to pair this week's Unscripted Sketch with the challenge over at Mo's Digital Challenge blog... they seemed to really compliment each other.

This isn't a color green I usually go for , but I figured I should use some Copics I don't normally grab. I do love it with that peachy color...

BIG NEWS TODAY... Lori Boyd has opened a little digi shop, Lollipops & Sugar Sticks and I'm on the design team with a bunch of super talented ladies! WOOHOO!!!

THANKFUL / Mini Apple Basket...

Recently, I was asked by the sweet and talented Kathy Martin to join her Digital Doodles Design Team. At first I thought she might be teasing me, but she was serious, I was super excited & here we are!!! The other ladies on the team are so extremely talented, as I saw them post their projects last week, I started freaking out a little! But I finally came up with something fun, that I could be proud with which to show off Kathy's newest Digital Doodles, Thankful.

I designed a little apple basket made from a brown paper bag! I thought it'd be a cute gifty thing for a teacher or could make a sweet little place card holder. I printed the digital images and colored them with Copics, aren't they SO SWEET!

I'll be putting a tutorial up on Sept 27th on how to construct this basket, so I hope you'll check back in!

Please go see what the other Digital Doodles DT came up with - you WON'T be disappointed!!!
