"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS FRAME / Digital Doodles...

Kathy Martin released a new set of digis yesterday, called Night Before Christmas! I instantly knew I wanted to add some blingy glitter to these cuties!

The frame I used for this was a cheapy, $2, plastic frame from Big Lots, that I covered with paper. After printing the digis, I cut them out, covered them with Stickles & then dusted them with glitter.

All these pics were from Alex's first Christmas!

Have a great night/morning!

BELLA LOVES CHRISTMAS! / CPS #187...

This is an exciting time! I was recently asked to join Mo's Dream Team as a guest designer for October (jumping up & down) and then also asked to guest design for City Crafter this week (more jumping up and down), AND I just found out that I won a RAK over at Simply Scrapping Crafts! WOOOOOOHOOOOO! All this jumping up and down could make a gal sick - lol!

So please meet 'Bella Loves Christmas' isn't she just gorgeous?!? You can find her here, at Mo's Digital Pencil - and what an AMAZING pencil it is! Ahhh, I wish this pic did her justice, she has a very light pink dress on with icicle stickle, ruffly trim at the bottom and her ornament is glazed with Crystal Effects. Not to mention her rhinestone holly berries! I am so honored to be showing off Mo's incredible work this month!

I am also super honored to be a guest designer for City Crafter this week! Kirsty is such a gracious hostess of this wonderfully creativity inducing challenge each week, and I SO regret not getting a chance to play along more often, but I'm promising myself I will!

I used the sketch from Card Positioning Systems this week, taking some liberties (as usual - lol)!

I do hope you'll find the time to play along with City Crafter, and CPS, as well as get an eyeful of gorgeousness over at Mo's.... you won't be sorry!

Bye for now...

HALLOWEEN LADYBUG LOLLIPOP / CP #84...

Halloween is my third favorite holiday to craft for, right after Christmas and Easter! I used Lori Boyd's cute Ladybug Lollipop for this sweet trick-or-treater, adding a soon to be released pumpkin bag accessory!

This card is based [loosley] on this week's sketch over at Card Patterns - I just made my card square! I'm also entering this into 2 other Halloween themed challenges; I Did It and One Stitch at a Time. I found the last two challenges while perusing the awesomely comprehensive challenge list over at Feline Playful Challenges, compiled by Karen Howard! Thank you Karen for all your hard work!

Thanks for stopping by!

COWBOY McCOY PUDDLE JUMPER / TPE #85...

Yahooooo - happy Monday! We have a brand new challenge for you over at The Pink Elephant, it's a theme challenge: Childhood/Dress-up/anything child related!

Stamp artist & all around awesome gal, Lori Boyd, just released two new stamps through Claudia and Company, one is this cutie Cowboy McCoy and the other is Princess Chloe... you'll have to check them out! For my card, I used some retired SU! paper, some ric-rac I had laying around and a gold star brad.

There was lots of celebrating of World Card Making Day this past weekend... and I didn't make a single card! I make lots of cards most other days, so my Saturdays and Sundays pretty much belong to my family... I don't even go NEAR my crafting stuff those days..,well, I DO on Sunday nights after the kids are in bed! Whatever you did this weekend, I hope it was fun and relaxing!

By for now,

BLACKMAIL / ST 9.30.10...

My apologies... I know I've been neglecting my stamps & that will be changing tomorrow... I've just been on a little scrapping kick...

So as I'm broadening my crafting horizons, I've been looking around for some scrap challenges, and I used the one from this week's Sketchy Thursdays for my digital LO today.

Alex recently came out of my bedroom carrying one of my bras, and attempting to put it on. I thought this would be a picture perfect moment to capture & document! After all, he'll start dating one day & this could come in handy!

Have a great night!
