Sleepless in Seattle

O.k., maybe not entirely sleepless. Ammon assured me that Ava had a few catnaps like the one here on the ferry, and she was asleep by 11:30 p.m. each night. (11:30!?!?!?) But when you are on a special daddy-daughter trip, sleep is far down on the "to do" list. This trip had been in the works for a while and I could not tell you who was more excited, Ammon or Ava. Senya and I missed them terribly, but they had a wonderful time visiting Nate, Patty, Juliann, Allison, Torvin, Stina, Aaron, Annika, Abe, Opa and Bestemor. Here are some pics!

Testing, Testing, 1,2,3

I am the master blog stalker.  I check in on Kellie and Kristen's blog nearly everyday.  I don't stop there.  I read all of their friends and family blogs whether I know these people or not.  This exercise takes up a lot of my time, but I continue to tell Ammon that I have no time to start my own blog.  Well, since I am on maternity leave and Ammon and Ava are away on a daddy daughter weekend, I have no more excuses.   So, here we go.  The South Pasadena Dornys are going live.
