Round Robin Update
I've made a good amount of progress on the white sections. I'll probably get back to working on this one the next time I have a long car ride. Off to InDesign...

IB Physics Quilt
Last year I made a quilt. For anyone following who hasn't heard me rant about this before, here are the last pictures I have taken of it. I am planning on putting lots of process photos and thoughts into portfolio format, but let it be known that I am a stitching geek through and through.
Studio Chalk
So umm, between classes one day I went to studio and in about ten minutes before I had to leave, I guess I was staring at the wall singing along to some musical. The droid was already there, along with other Star Wars characters elsewhere in the room, and took some regular chalk and sketched out part of General S.S. Wicket. His left eye got a little smeared, but you get the idea. I found it odd how nobody seemed to notice the addition to the concrete column. Later on, my friend Sergio decided to add a top hat, handlebar mustache, and a monocle. He doesn't know it yet, but the Ewoks are going to retaliate for that hit on their reputation....

Pottery and Interactive Shaded
It was a fun day, partly because I got sleep last night, and maybe partly because I met a cute engineering boy who seemed interested in my incessant hyper babbling. FormZ is a little boring, but hey I made some shapes that resemble a garage and servant's quarters. Now to add animation, erm... The interactive shaded bit was a meek attempt at being clever. You see, that's a display setting in the modeling program I'm using in architecture right now, but the real interactive shading comes in with a certain Dryad I happen to be stitching. Her face is starting to emerge, and the subtle differences in green make me very happy. It fades into the white so well! Oh, and my Red Hot Pottery from SSS came in. It looks awesome next to my big, shiny, ceramic white elephant. Here are the photos.

Dryyyyad.
I have absolutely no logical explanation for my progression of stitches here. If anyone else can think of something, they're like those English teachers who try to find deeper Christian meaning in an Existentialist's autobiography. I hope whoever sees this photo enjoys looking at my stitching as I enjoy seeing the pattern come to realization. It is crazy how so many colors even exist in the world! And that they can be woven through fabric to recapture a gorgeous watercolor painting in a different way.. <3
UFO Robin Round Two
As I received this next round...
And the first bit I worked on. That whole white section is filled in now, photos pending. Perhaps I'll try to finish all the white on this pattern if I can figure out which page said sections of pattern are located. :P It is an interesting experience working off of other people's projects. Not that this will make me any less picky about my own organization knowing that everyone else works in different ways lol. I could have babbled about this round robin more in this post, because I know people love to hear me get excited about things and the consequence they shall endure being in near vicinity of me when said moment of hyper occurs....nonetheless, I will continue working on my HAED now. The pretty blue flower on her head is almost filled in! :)
