Father's Day Weekend

We went to the bay area Father's day weekend for a couple of nights. It was great to see our family and some friends. Friday the kids got to go over to their cousins for a fun day. They were greeted by these adorable signs on the door.

Spencer's neighborhood friends were in town that weekend too. They had fun visiting, remembering old times together and meeting Carter.

We all had a lot of fun being with Grandma and Grandpa. Aubrey loved reading with Grandma and going to the park with Grandpa.

We went to our old ward on Sunday and saw all our family friends that we hadn't seen since Carter's blessing.

At church they gave all the dad's these adorable burger and fries pastry.

We had Spencer's wonderful BBQ tri-tip sandwiches for Father's Day dinner.

For dessert we had Grandpa's favorite Banana Cream pie and I think it is also someone else's favorite.....

What a fun weekend!

Early Father's Day

We celebrated our families Father's day early this year. Spencer opened his gifts from us on Friday when he got home from work because we went to the Bay Area for the weekend. Aubrey and I had a lot of fun shopping and making Daddy's gifts. The card that Aubrey made was the cutest thing ever. She drew all by herself our whole family. She even made me have long yellow hair it was a amazing how detailed it was.

Aubrey also painted a beautiful canvas for Daddy to put up at his desk.

I was VERY happy with how this came out.

Aubrey and Carter are so lucky to have such an awesome dad and I'm honored to call him my husband. He does so much for our family and we love him very much. We are also very lucky to have such wonderful examples of what it is to be a dad on both sides of our families.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads!!!

Merced County Fair

Now that I have got everyone up to date on our trip to Disneyland I can now post what we have been up to the last couple of weeks. The week after our trip was the Merced County Fair. On Thursday my moms group got us behind the scenes tickets. It was great! A big group of us got together early in the morning and got to go into the fair before it opened to the public. We learned all about recycling, electrical safety and fire safety. The kids had a blast in the petting zoo. Aubrey was really in her element there, she loves animals. It was cute watching her teach Carter how to be soft and nice to all the animals. We also got to see a cute pig race and have ice cream with all our friends.

Last Day in Disneyland/Going home (Day 7&8)

Saturday was our last day in the parks and it was so hard to say good bye. We had a blast all week long and got to see and do everything that we wanted. On our way into the park that morning Alice and the Mad Hatter were skipping around the main entrance. Aubrey really wanted to say hi to Alice so her and I ran over to her and before you knew it Alice grabbed Aubrey's hand and they were off skipping together. Aubrey was on cloud nine!!!!

We didn't get to see my favorite, Daisey Duck so this picture of her will have to do. Onto the Monster Inc. parade.

They conquered the Tower! Yeah!

As I have said and you have seen we got just about every character that Disneyland has out and about to autograph our books. We saw every princesses 2 or more times except for Mulan. We asked everyday and they said she was very hard to find that she doesn't come out very often. While we were walking over to the Little Mermaid ride just in the corner of our eyes we saw Mulan standing next to a fence talking to just one little girl. We were so excited! It was meant to be for Aubrey to meet ALL the princesses!

Our last firework show and ride, It's a Small World.

Check out Aubrey's huge cookie!

Sunday morning we got all ready and on the road.

This was an amazing, magical, prefect trip!!!! Everything went great. The kids were wonderful and we all had an awesome time being together. We are so thankful for daddy (Spencer) for all his hard work so that we could go and do this. This was such an experience for both kids. It was very hard to get home and back in the swing of things but we are enjoying looking at all our pictures and cherishing all our memories. Aubrey is still asking, "can we go to Disneyland tomorrow?"
