2011, Week Thirty-Eight

Keegan had two spectacular milestones this week. Here's the first one!
Dallin and Vincent accompanied Orlando to his appointment and found fun ways to entertain themselves. Then they discovered a colorful park.
What a view on a beautiful day!
During all of the fun and exploring, Dallin was thoughtful enough to make a bouquet for Tara.
The boys were so well behaved that they got to go to the Museum of Flight!
Orlando had a fun time explaining how airplanes land and take off from carriers.
Vincent was hesitant to go on the 4-D flight simulator but he was glad that he did.
Check out Dallin's hang gliding score!
When the kids flew through the world war two wing, they shrieked with delight for being the only ones there.
Kick in the afterburners because the day isn't over yet!
Tennis time!
Shayla heard that the boys were having such a good time so she came over for a slumber party! The next morning, we headed out to the skating rink! Orlando volunteered to watch Keegan while everyone else skated but he ended up also watching Vincent who would not put his skates on for fear of falling. Shayla never fell but everyone else did. Especially Dallin but he got right back up and motored along. Way to go Dallin!
And now we come to the biggest news of the week. Can you believe it!?

Come on everyone, let's get Uncle Orlando so we can kid pile on him!
Dinner with the Stephensons at the Kellys and a rocket powered good time for Keegan.
The imagination of children never ceases to amaze us. These three built their own beach and were soaking up the sun all while under the table.
We're going to see Grandma Sheila next week!

2011, Week Thirty-Seven

Crazy Dallin and his crazy hair.
Orlando was up late Monday night to catch Rain Light Fade rock out after Kamelot's concert. The music didn't end until the wee hours of the morning but it was totally worth it.
Kylee's baby brother Owen came into the world so Dallin got to take her to school. We think that it's just too cute how they hold hands!
Keegan was having too much fun splashing in the bathtub to get out.
Here come the spider boys!
Grandma Sheila came over to join us at the Puyallup Fair where we met a lot of animals.
After the animals, crafts, and shows, it was time for the rides staring with the carousel.
Tara, Dallin, and Vincent rode on the Ferris wheel.
The kids rode on a slide last year but had enough courage to tackle the big one. Dallin wanted to go by himself but was a sweetheart for going down with Shayla.

Last ride before the rain started up and the kids chose the best one. It 's funny to see their reactions change as the ride progressed.

Smiley children!
Lovely Grandma and her beautiful Grandsons.
Keegan's not crawling yet but he can still surprise Phatboi with a pivoting tackle.
See you next week!

We had a lot of fun playing together.
Baby Keegan loved the water.
What a great start to the holiday!
Bikes and BBQ with our buds the Meechams.
Dallin's first day of school and he was off and running to his class all by himself. It's amazing how much he's grown.
His first assignment. Great job, Dallin!
It's hard to tell what he likes more. Swimming lessons or playing in the lockers?
Dallin and Keegan helping Orlando with the laundry.
We set up the jump-up to entertain Keegan but Dallin had just as much fun playing with it as he did.
Even though the US Open was hindered by rain, it was still a great tournament. Orlando was disapointed that Federer let double match points slip away for the third year in a row. Dallin and Keegan practiced their doubles skills.
Jessalyn joined in the fun too!
The three amigos at it again.
The kids had a wonderful time playing outside. Dallin threw perfect and accurate spirals, Shayla blasted the soccer ball, Vincent effectively volleyed the tennis balls with his racket, and Keegan snatched the balls a number of times as well.
Rain Light Fade, Grandma Sheila, and the Puyallup Fair await us next week!

2011, Week Thirty-Five

Look at this big boy playing in the exersaucer all by himself!
Amber stopped by for some T-ball fun. She and Dallin figured if they held hands, they could hit the ball farther. Surprisingly, it worked!
Our last trip to the zoo for the year but Dallin was preoccupied with the friendly ladybug that stayed with him.
Tigers!
Could these river otters be any cuter?
Tortoise out for snack in the sunshine.
We arrived right at the red wolf's feeding so he was supremely entertaining as he ran all over snatching up his dinner and grinning so happily.
When offering to ride with Dallin, "I'm a big boy and I can ride the camel all by myself!"
Dallin was quite pleased that he caught two birds.
Group shot inside the mouth of the great white.
Those adorable boys.
Hanging out at the zoo.
Silly kids falling up.
Uncle's Russ and Ryan are so much fun.
One of the best babysitters in the world, Beth, came over with her family for dinner and a great pillow fight. She's off to college so we'll definitely miss her.
Dallin and Tara hit up Redondo beach where Dallin looked super cool.
A beautiful sight on a gorgeous day.
What a great time they had!
Three kids attempting to take out the camera with their discs.
Possibly the last dinner held outside this year. The missionaries stopped by for dessert too.
Orlando accompanied Dallin on his bike ride to church and back but Dallin also wanted to ride to Aunt Missy's house for Dinner and a sleepover.
Dallin doing his encore presentation with Shayla.
The kids making sure their tent is ready for the sleep over.

Labor Day and the finals of the US Open await us next week!
