Thankful

Here's my first card using Cammie's set from Gina K Designs: Whimsical Autumn. Cammie will donate 100% of the proceeds from this set to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her Grandmother.

I made this card for the blog candy challenge that Cammie had last week to make and send a card to an Alzheimer's caregiver.

I colored the image with Bic Mark Its...LOVE those things!


There are red rhinestones in the swirls.
The background paper is from the Basic Grey Sugared 6x6 pad and has been embossed with the d'vine swirl folder.

Keeping it Cold...

Sticking with the Christmas/Winter them I've got going...

I LOVE this stamp from CHF.
This is Snowy Sophie by Kim Hughes.

I stamped her on the Memory Box Winterberry paper and then again on white cardstock.
On the white one, I colored the nose and heart and fun flocked her body...cut it out and paper pieced it onto the Winterberry piece.

This was my first try at fun flock, and it's FUN!
I used THIS fun flock from Limelight Papercrafts.

I stamped joy and added two red rhinestones.

Christmas Chick!

Let's just stay with the Christmas theme today...

This was done during Unity's Hip Hop Thursday....the challenge was to take a non-Christmas Unity stamp and make a Christmas card.

I used the Hey Chick set that you can get it HERE from Limelight.

I used stickles on the chick and 'merry christmas' sentiment.

Getting ready for cooler weather!

I just love this Unity set: Jolly Little Winter that I got from Limelight Papercrafts!
I am a penguin-a-holic so this set is FABULOUS!


This little cutie is paper pieced and I gave him a little scarf!


This card fits today's challenge over on SCS: LSC187 ~ Christmas card with an animal, the only embellishment is ribbon.
It was so hard for me not to put some sparkle on those snowflakes!

Party Cupcakes

This is for USC5 ~ paper piecing!

Love this cupcake set! I got mine from Limelight, you can see it HERE.

The papers I used are from the Basic Grey Two Scoops collection.

I used a dew drop for the cherry and traced the frosting with stickles!!

BIG HUGE Tea cup!!

This fabulous tea cup image is by Unity.
It was a single for just one day but you can STILL GET IT AT LIMELIGHT!!!

AND...it's ONLY $4!! It is mounted on a 'cassette' but you do not need the Unity C handle to use it, the 'cassette' is enough of a 'handle'....how do I know?
Because that's how I use it!! :)

I embossed the tea cup in brown onto Basic Grey Sugared paper.
The background paper is also from the Basic Grey Sugared pad!

I made my own little tea bag string/label...used embroidery floss for the string. I used rub-ons from THIS kit for the label. Or, if don't want the full kit, you can get just the Crate Paper Blue Hill rub-ons HERE.


And I finised it off in the top left corner with THIS gorgeous ribbon.

Winterberry Bird

I just love this new stamp and paper from Memory Box that I just got from my most fabulous LSS (Rubber Stamp Fantasy in Marietta, GA).

This was made for a challenge to use a tag from the Verve Forum on SCS.

I used Pearlescent watercolors (these things are AMAZING and cheap!) on the bird, nest and berries. It has a nice shimmer in person, hard to capture in the photo.


The 'red' Basic Grey Sugared piece is cb'd w/ d'vine swirls.

Bella Rose Bird

This was for MTVD09. It was my first try at cutting something 'out of the box.'
I just LOVE the SU designer paper: Bella Rose.

I added pearls to the scallops and some star dust stickles to the bird.

An Orchid

I colored with Copics but did use a SU Ruby Red marker as well.

I found a fabulous pack of thumb tacks at Office Depot...cut off the 'tacks' and now they're embellies! :)
