UPDATES

WARNING!! THIS IS A LONG POST! READ IF YOU HAVE TIME!!

Yes, we are still alive, just been very busy. Here are a few updates with what has been going on.

NOAH: Talks, pesters, and tears everything apart. That pretty much sums up Noah. He loves to do everything "myself", loves to eat posiples (Popsicles) which he helps himself to whenever no one is looking, and is into everything. One thing positive is that he says fank you and no fank you most of the time. He has also learned to peddle his trike and wants to go to school with mom and Jaeley every day. Though he is very loved, he gets into a lot of trouble. He colors on Jaeley's homework, tears my homework, smashes his dump truck into every wall in the house, etc. just being a boy. Noah has also learned a lot of the sounds that the letters make, he doesn't know the names of the letters, but when you point to a letter and ask him the sound the letter makes, he most often can get it right. B is his favorite! Thank you Letter Factory!

JAELEY: She is doing awesome in school! We had parent/teacher conferences last week and her teacher had nothing but positive to say about Jaeley. She is the youngest in her class (except one other little girl) and is excelling like nobodies business. She is beginning to read and loves math. We also had our Primary program on Sunday. She had to memorize 2 parts, one being a scripture, and said every word exactly like she was supposed to, and sang every word to every song while waving to everyone in the congregation. When she was singing, she would open her mouth really wide to say every word to make sure everyone knew she was singing and knew every word. She is hilarious. She always tries to do what is right. Last week she went to my sisters house for the day (no school because of conferences). She and her cousin Bryton were playing in the basement with Bryton's brother and Noah. Bryton wanted to leave the little ones downstairs by themselves in the dark. As they were leaving Jaeley said to Bryton, "No wait Bryton, I got to do what's right! Come on Noah & Kelton." Little choices like that make me proud to be a mom! Also a few weeks ago it snowed. As we were watching it snow, Jaeley says, "Mom, I know it's winter now."
Me: "Well actually, it is still fall."
Jaeley said (so disgusted) "HELLO! Then why is it snowing?"
I had to laugh. She is always so thoughtful of people around her and wants everyone to be as happy as she is. My grandpa's birthday was on Monday. She was wondering what we had got him for a present and if we got in invitation to his birthday party. She made sure to call him, which made his day!
CLINT: Just working, working , working! He has got the Christmas lights up on the house and is ready to be plowing snow. At work they are on 4 ten hour shifts. He has been working at the Golf Course on Friday's, but things have been slow with the cold weather so not much work for him there. I am grateful for that because now he is my sitter on Friday's. It makes my life a little less crazy on those days.
ME: Well just running everywhere. I get myself too involved with things and then hate myself for it. First teaching school which is only supposed to be half time, but with conferences, it has been a full time job plus correcting papers and all the lovely things that come along with it. Thing have been very busy. Another one of my jobs is second counselor in Relief Society (which is NOT a relief at all). I am over Enrichment Night. I have just got through with Enrichment Night, which was a Festival of Trees project. Not everything got done so I had another night to finish up projects, and the local display night is tomorrow, which means setting up and taking down projects. We also try to have weekly meetings and go visiting ward members then too. Next I am taking a college class one night a week for 3 hrs., which will be my last of seven to get my "reading endorsement", and sadly to say will mean nothing when I am done. I shouldn't say nothing because every class that I take gets me closer to a pay raise, so eventually it will be worth it. The class is a real pain and has tons of work that goes with it. Also on Monday's I help in teaching Jaeley's dancing class. This is something fun that we get to do together. The most important job that I have is "trying" to be a mom and wife, and expecting child #3 May 1. So needless to say we are all busy, busy, busy!
Now that you have the update and heard my complaints till the next time I blog, thanks for reading along with me!

By the way Vic and Shelly, I will get to your tags, I PROMISE!!
