My goal was to beat my time of 28:20 or place. I took 2nd in Women's overall! Time was not so great! 29:30. But I did place and my sister beat her goal of passing me up. She took 1st barely lol. :)
Had my first 5K for the year with my sister!! It was in Ivins. It went better then expectated. I BEAT MY TIME of 28:48 and ran it at my new time 28:20!!! I was 13th overall and 6th in my age division. Next race is March 8th in Orem!!
3rd Race to run and my goal was to beat my last 2 times. This was in St George for there Turket Trot 5k. Time to beat 34:04.......................Finished at a AWESOME 28:48. I was so shocked. I pushed my self to make sure I could beat my time and when I got to the end and saw the time I was in SHOCK!!! So happy. Its a great feeling.
I finally did it!! I have lost 25LBS!!! I feel so great. Now on to maintaining it and taking a little break. I would like to do 5lbs more to be where I really want to, but so glad at where I am!! A special thanks to my AWESOME hubby. He has been so supportive to watch girls while I work out and be my cheerleader at races!! He even was a waterboy for a day training for this 5K with my friends. We ran and he drove by with water bottles for us.
Our journey started September 23, 2005. We were married for time and all eternity in the St. George Temple. In 2009 we had our first little girl Haley DeLora. In 2012 we had another little one Abbey RaeLyn. Lonnie loves to work on the farm, collect coins, and visit ghost towns. I love playing volleyball, and doing crafts and being a stay at home mom. We love spending time together as a family. we are grateful for each other and are lucky to have each other.
Lonnie served his mission in Canada. We went back there in 2007 and loved it and plan to go back soon.
