This morning Aiden started puckering like he is blowing kisses when he is actually telling us he's hungry...but it was so cute, I just had to record it. Yes, this is such a case of baby love!

Hilarious!
So, Mike and I were just vegging this evening and watching Scrubs. I kept noticing that Aiden's sock kept coming off. I asked where it was and Mike said it was underneath him. Since he was being fed, and it really wasn't a big deal, I forgot all about it and moved on.
I kept waiting for Aiden to wake up so I could pick him up. He opened his eyes and I went to take him out of the swing when I stopped in my tracks. I had to look twice. I immediately doubled over laughing. Low and behold, Mike had put his hiking sock on Aiden's leg and was anxiously waiting for me to discover it. LOL!!!

Aiden at 3 months and 2 days old...
Aiden got weighed on Tuesday and was 10 lbs and 1 oz and has been gaining approximately 2 oz a day! I took some pics this morning while holding him because he was just soooo cute!
You have to agree...he is absolutely adorable!
He is getting bigger. I took this picture to show some perspective of just how big he is getting.

The "After Party" in the Secretary's office
It's Friday night, the last week night of the Secretary as Secretary. He had a HUGE pile of things to file. We had just finished the party and were still having fun. He had to get down to business, but a few of us decided it was still time to play! So, if you notice below, the Secretary is signing away.....look below that to find out what we decided to do.
Yup, you guessed it. It was time to make smores in the Secretary's fireplace! Man, did we have a ball.

Going away party in the Secretary's office - January 16, 2009
The 16th of January happened to be the last day for politicals who worked under the Bush Administration. It also happened to be my last day as well. It was good timing because we all got to say good-bye together.
The Secretary giving a farewell speech.
Brian Waidmann, former Chief of Staff, giving his farewell speech. He took very good care of me...
People mingling around...
Pat Connally (my boss at the time) and myself. Really going to miss her as she heads back to Colorado!
Me with my past two bosses; Pat Connally and Margaret Bradley

Another visit to DOI
Here is another visit to DOI with Aiden.
Here, Tami is having a great time holding Aiden. I just love this picture!
Here, we are having a mini-baby shower for Aimee (who is 30 weeks pregnant here with a girl). Aiden sucked up some attention as he was passed around and loved on by the girls.
[Below] Our TPIA (Take Pride in America) hallway was the best! We always had fun and that included lunch in the "ice box" (a normally below average temperature conference room). This was one last rondevoux!
This day Aiden joined us. It was fun having him there considering that is the time he would usually kick me when I was pregnant.
Here's the gang...
One of the funniest people I have ever met...Justin. He was on one of the longest running lunch cravings ever; TUNA! We thought we were going to loose him to mercury poisoning, but he came through and Lisa even gave him some as a parting gift. he-he
Don't we just look like we are up to no good. We usually are...and have SOO much fun doing it! Just love her. = )

Game night - January 11, 2009
Many great things came out of working at DOI; traveled, did what I loved to do, fell in love with and married my hubby, etc... Another one of the best things was the establishment of 'game night'. This is when our good friends Justin, Brooke and Lisa join us for a night of hysterical laughter and fun. We change houses occasionally and always look forward to it. This time Aiden participated. he-he

A day at work
Yesterday, I brought Aiden to work so everyone would be able to see him. It was GREAT to be there and see everyone. Below are some pics from the day...
The Secretary with me and the baby. I have one with Mike in it, but he is smirking and would hate it if I put it in... = )
The family by the Secretary's fireplace.
My wonderful and special friend, Lisa. Aiden has loved her from the start. She was there when he first kicked me and the only one to see my dress move with him squirming. He just loves her...oh and he likes David Cook music. He moved to that in my tummy while Lisa and I listened to him. Just love her!

The boss holding little guy...just before he began to cry with gas. Nothing like introducing yourself that way.

Some family time...
The holidays were nice and we were blessed to have family around. Below is another great pic of Aiden and Grandpa Libby...plus a 3 generational one. Too cute.
Mike's sister, Susan, flew in for a few days while traveling back to Seattle from Greece. That was a nice visit too...Mike and I even got to go on our first date since the baby while Aunt Susan watched Aiden.
