So, yesterday morning, Mike was feeding him breakfast and Aiden kept biting the spoon and not letting it go. The picture below says it all....just love it!!

A visit with the Hansen's...

Well, hello everyone. I trust everyone is enjoying their summer, so far. We are. Yesterday our good friends came over (Kurt, Hilary and Harper Hansen). Aiden is only 2-3 weeks older than Harper. They were SOOOO cute together - as you can see in the video below.

A major milestone happened for Aiden yesterday as well. His two bottom teeth broke through. Yeah, baby!!! We are also very happy. We have been praying for God to guide us to a church where He wants us to be. We have found one and are really excited to be attending it.

Anyway, on to the cute kids!

Aiden is FINALLY sleeping with his bottom in the air. I have been waiting for this for awhile. I must say I am making it a point to enjoy every stage of his development. However, there are a few milestones I have looked forward to. One of them being the above picture. The other one was him smiling and giggling. I just love it!!

Aiden has been doing so well. He is growing in leaps and bounds. He wasn't feeling well last week (due to a formula change) but all is well now. When he wasn't feeling well, he slept a lot and of course Mike and I took advantage of the extra cuddle time!

Friends visiting

Carole lives next door and comes over almost every day for breakfast.  She and her daughter watch Aiden if I ever need a baby sitter.  They are pretty much family and Aiden loves them!

My good friend, Cathy Shavlik, came up for a visit.  It was the first time I have seen her since the birth so it was great seeing her!

A little visit to DOI

One of the ladies who I used to work with at DOI called and asked if I could come in and guide her in the July 4th decorations for the Secretary's office.  It was a nice visit and Aiden got to get loved on.  He actually fed off the people's excitement...acting A LOT like his mama!

Swimming at Carole's

So yesterday was just wonderful.  We all went to church with my friend, Carole and then went next door to her house afterwards to swim.  It was a GORGEOUS day....no wind, no humidity, not a cloud in the sky....just awesome!

I know I am always saying how cute Aiden is, but it is just SO true!  The other morning, Aiden woke up hungry at 4:30.  I fed him and put him in bed with me.  It was the best cuddle time I've ever had with him.  That morning, he was extremely happy and VOCAL!  I think it's because we both had our "love cups filled" (used to say that when I was a kid).  Here's a snippet of it.

On another note, I am still entirely grossed out by what happened about an hour ago.  We fed Aiden a prune and oatmeal breakfast this morning.  (you probably know where this is going...)  He was happy and giddy all day.  I was getting dinner made and brought Mike's to him in the TV room.  I stopped and giggled with Aiden as he played in his activity jumper.  I froze in my tracks when I thought he was dancing in a puddle of blood.  Mike said, "That's not blood.  That's POOP!"  It was EVERYWHERE!!!!  That was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen!!!  He kept laughing out loud when he saw me freaking out.  How hilarious...and yet completely disgusting at the same time!

Just a little catching up...

I know it has been some time since I last posted something...been busy....good busy, but busy none-the-less.  Things are going really well.  SOO in love with hubby and baby!  The doctors found out that I tested REALLY positive for ADD/ADHD and put me on some meds.  Boy, what a difference.  I am SOO much happier...still my bubbly self..only better.

Mike and I were cuddling on the couch and noticed Aiden was standing still.  Mike said, "Honey, look where his hands are.  That might be why he isn't moving."  LOL!

Hello everyone.

This weekend was just beautiful!!! No humidity and sunny! Mike's weekend started on Sunday and he stayed home to rest while I went to church with my friends Carole and Sara. It's called Grace Community Church and really like it. We came home and cooked out at Carole's (which happens to be next door - we are actually going to put a gate between the two houses because we are ALWAYS together). We also took Aiden for his first swim in her pool. He was TIRED and his suit didn't fit yet.
