What a beautiful day!

Aiden and I had a wonderful day. He's been home all week because his home daycare is closed this week. I prayed a lot about this week because I'd have him while Mike worked and I know my health fluctuates and need my own help. As usual, God came through.

Aiden and I have really bonded again. Instead of him being out of control and stir crazy, he settled right in, and has done the opposite. He's been more relaxed and fun and we've all gotten along beautifully. We noticed when he would do something wrong, or make a mess, he'd run and hide. I told him we wanted him to run to us for hugs when he gets upset. Explaining that we want his heart to be happy and when he's sad or scared...or even mad, we want to pour love into him so his heart can be full. He began running to us and we've already seen quite a difference. Much more confident and happy...even stepping out and trying new things all on his own.

Here are a few pics...

Gonna swim for the first time this summer!

First time being on the float by himself....per his request. :-)

His drawing from the iPad.

He wanted to make a hat that had a flashlight attached to it, so we did.

On a side note, I just noticed the veins in my hand. They've been difficult to see over the past few years after my surgeries. Praise God. They're starting to look normal!!!  Yahoo!

Yeah. It's been awhile!

I've wanted to get back into blogging again. So much goes on and I don't always want to post it on FB.

Baby steps.

Here's a video I just took of Aiden doing his bible verse in sign language from school (aka. Miss Shryl's home daycare where she goes by a Christian preschool curriculum.).

Well, can't find the shortcut to add a video from this iphone app. Oh well. Progress anyway. Here's a pic of him napping next to me on the couch.
