Ninth Week: Turks & Caicos

Turks was as beautiful and the water as clear and aquamarine as we remembered it from our fifth anniversary. On one hand it was a hard trip and a lot of sad memories laced in with it, and it was heartbreaking and also so disappointing because we've been looking forward to this for so long. On the other that's life and it was such a nice trip with so many beautiful sights. Monday was really the only completely normal day. The rest of the week had a cloud hanging over it, and sometimes Nick and I cried alone in our room and other times we put on a smile and went along, celebrating Rex and doing what the group was doing as best we could with heavy hearts.

Monday: We stayed at The Ritz with Beth & Tandy, Breanne & Kyle. We spent the afternoon and early evening in the pool, went to dinner at the hotel and met up with Rex & Kylee for some late night black jack in the casino.

On Tuesday Nick and I went and walked around the shops and I found the cutest coffee shop (Lemon 2). We went and got groceries as we waited to check into the house, which was a real sight walking up to The Ritz with a grocery cart.

We checked into the house (it was AMAZING!), spent some time in the pool and the ocean, and went to dinner at Coco Bistro. That night we came back to the house and played games.

Wednesday was a pool day at the house.

Thursday was a boat day. The water was just incredible. We went to a fish fry (which is like a local market) and then had dinner at Conch Shack before flying home Friday. I would love to bring the boys to Turks some day. It's unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Ninth Week of Summer: Pine Cove

Pine Cove is always the most fun, happiest week of summer for Logan and Everett. This year camp was no different. Although the pictures from Ranch (Logan's camp) were few and far between, he loved his week with Brooks and Drew. I got about a million pictures of Everett living his best life. A highlight for him was getting to caddy in the Masters and the counselor winning.

Of course, Beck was also living his best life being spoiled by Grammy & Papa, and Mimi at Camp Double S.
