Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope all are well and enjoying the weekend!! I know I am...today I have some away time to myself shopping without the kids. I treasure some quiet time since I do home school my girls. I love my girls but I guess we all need some me time...right? I always look forward to going out for a bit and then within an hour am ready to go back and see them...funny, huh?
Well anywho...today it is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs challenge.
This week's Challenge:
Well...it has been a while since we had a sketch so this week I created a sketch for our players and the talented challenge team to play with.
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday,
While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them. If you are not using ODBD stamps, however, you may only enter your creation once. As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by December 9 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC40. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.
Now on to my creation:
Normally I don't use such bright colors but I just love the look of the Mitten Weather snowflake paper from Cosmo Cricket. So vibrant and cheerful, isn't it? The sentiment is one of the new releases from Our Daily Bread Designs called Christmas Blessings. These sentiments make great inside sentiments as well!!
I used a brand new embossing folder from Sizzix sent to me by my dear friend Crystal. Thanks hun!! I just love the folder and will use it again where you can see more of the floral poinsettia background! I punched the bottom of my one panel with a half snowflake border punch from EK Success.

Happy Friday Everyone!! Woo hoo!! I am so excited...no homeschooling for the weekend and time to put up some Christmas lights!! I just love Christmas and I can't believe it is here again already!! Yikes!! Time flies!! Don't blink or the holidays will be over...
Anywho....today is a new Wags n Whiskers challenge. This week our host is the sweet and talented SHARON. Sharon has challenged us to use snowflakes on our creation.
Don't forget the Wags n Whiskers challenge is now open. Anyone can play along and you DO NOT need to use a Wags 'n Whiskers image.
Each challenge we have two prizes:
One random participant will win a Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber stamp of their choice.
Therefore, anyone who uses a Wags 'n Whiskers image will be entered into both prizes of a rubber stamp and a digital stamp!!
The only requirements are that you link directly to your challenge project - not to the main page of your blog. You must have a new project (no back linking) and you must link your card to the challenge post.
If you do not have a blog, you can still enter the challenges by uploading your cards to an open gallery such as Splitcoaststampers.
Any entry using a Wags 'n Whiskers image on their card will be entered into a drawing for a W'nW Digital stamp of their choice!!

Hi All! This is my second post of the day so if you are here for the Divine Diva post, scroll down to the next post. If you are here for the Birthday Blog Hop for Josh, you are in the right place!!!
Hi Everyone!! Today ODBD is having a birthday celebration for Josh!! Josh works for Kelley at Our Daily Bread Designs and has become an integral part of the Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) family!
Josh is Kelley's right hand man at ODBD! He helps out with cutting the rubber, mounting stamps, picking orders, and helping set up, tear down and run register at the ODBD booth just to name a few of the many things he does. If you have been to the ODBD Shows you have probably seen him there. I have not had the opportunity to meet him in person like some of the team has....yet...one of these days I will make one of Kelley's shows....but I always enjoy his short, sweet and cheery notes with the packages.
Happy Birthday Josh!!I hope your day is full of wonderful surprises!!
In Josh's honor the team is having a blog hop. If you came here from my dear friend Grace's blog, you are in the right place, if not, you may want to start at the ODBD blog...who knows what is in store for you there....besides there is lots of inspiration by the dt along the way.
Kelley is offering the chance to win a $15 gift certificate to 3 lucky bloggers who participate in the Birthday blog hop. All you have to do is comment on each person's post on the hop and at the ODBD blog to qualify!! How fun is that?! So what are you waiting for...grab a cup of coffee and start hopping. While you are at it, make sure to hop to the ODBD blog to wish Josh a Happy Birthday!!
Here is the card I created for Josh using the ODBD stamp sets Dad (for the sentiment) and Randi's song (for the embossed leaves).
The dp is from SU Bella Blue and the black piece of dp is from my scrap bin. The ribbon is May Arts wrinkled ribbon.
challenges I entered this card in:
Fab 'n' Funky - birthday
Crafty Little Place - anything goes
Party Time Tuesdays - BIRTHDAY and anything goes
Scrap-Creations - anything goes
Woodware USA (1 entry) - anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything goes
Robyns Fetish / IDIC - Surprise me
Paper Cutz - Anything Goes
C4Challenges- script background or paper
Thanks for stopping by, the next stop on the hop is the ever so sweet Chrissy.
Have a blessed day!!

Welcome to the December Our Daily Bread Designs Release Blog Hop!! If you came here from Connie's blog you are in the right place, if you just happened on my blog you may want to go to the beginning at the ODBD Blog and start from there...since there is a lot of inspiration along the way and some awesome prizes hidden among the dt blogs!!! If there should be a link broken along the way, simply return to the ODBD blog (or below here) where the entire list is displayed with links in order. You can always check back to the one you missed at a later time before the hop ends. The hop will run from Dec. 1 at 8 a.m. to Dec. 2 at 8 p.m.
There will be 4 prizes. Kelley has very generously offered to give Three prizes of Choice of One set, and One GRAND PRIZE of the December Bread Basket Bundle!!!! Wow!! How Awesome is that! The prizes are hidden on various blogs along the hop, so it is important that you visit and comment on each one! The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Dec. 3.Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of these great prizes:
Simply visit and leave a comment on each blog on the hop, then return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment there
1. telling us that you completed the hop (noting any blogs you were unable to leave comments on).
2. answer the question stated there,
3. and then just pray or cross your fingers and toes hoping you won!!!
Be sure to check the ODBD Blog on Dec 3rd to see if you won!!!
Now on to my project!! I just love these new sets!! They are so versatile and fun!! Instead of sharing a card with you today, I thought I would share an ornament I created with the new Ornaments sets released today. Since ODBD is now a Spellbinders preferred company, Kelley will be offering sets from time to time that will fit in their dies!! This is one of them!!! These ornament images fit in the Spellbinders ornament dies offered at Spellbinders or you can purchase them at Our Daily Bread Designs if you purchase the entire bundle!!
I embossed the stamped image in gold and colored it in copics. While some embossing powders sweer with copics, I have found that Stampendous does not smeer for me.
I apologize that my pictures don't show the colors just right...we are experiencing a lot of cloudy weather and rain lately so unfortunately I could not get a better photo. The flowers are colored in a sage green color and the ribbon is like an emerald green. If you click on the photo, you will see the colors more clearly. There are two sides to the ornaments.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today! From here, hop on over
to Angie’s blog for some more inspiration!
Just in case you get lost along the way, I have included the team members and order here for you:
