Happy Friday Friends!! I hope everyone has enjoyed their week and they are excited for the weekend!!! I know many...including my family are expecting TONS of snow this afternoon and throughout the weekend. I pray everyone remains safe and warm!!!!
With winter in full force in many areas...I know I am looking forward to new beginnings...Spring...where the miracles of nature begin. I just love when the flowers begin to grow and bloom...the trees bud and leaf out!! What a glorious time of year. I call it God's landscape...there is nothing more miraculous.
That is why today I get to share an image and card that makes me feel happy!! For today's card, I used ODBD Let The Earth Rejoice , Earth's Gladdest Day , and The Shepherd .
I masked my images and colored them in with copics. The open crocuses have flower soft in the middle for some added texture. The background of the oval is embossed in Soft Swirls (provocraft) and the rectangle is embossed in a SU basket weave (unsure of the name).
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Brown Sugar – anything goes, Cards by Lady Anne - Sentimental For Friday -- Anything Goes, Copic Marker Europe - Anything goes with Copic Markers, Crafty Ribbons -Anything goes with ribbonCrafts and Me - #119 Favorite color combo, WordArt Wednesdays - word art freebie OR use an encouraging uplifting sentiment - #66 anything goes Delightful Challenges - Think Spring Penny's Paper-Crafty Ribbons/Bows Artistic Inspirations Embossing

Hello Friends!! I hope you all are doing well!! It is always amazing to me how fast time goes!! It is already February!!! and with February comes Valentine's Day. While it is not really a holiday, I do think it is important to acknowledge or show others how much we care! No harm can come from Warm Fuzzies ...no matter how commercialized it has become.
With Valentine's in mind, the challenge team at our Daily Bread Designs wants to share some love with some of those artists or crafters out there that we admire with this week's Shining the Light challenge:
This week's challenge is:
Be a Secret Admirer!! Case a card of any designer you admire. It does not need to be an ODBD Designer. Link the card you cased within your post.
For my creation, I am
Casing my sweet sister stick and dear friend: Angie Crockett.
Angie is not only sweet but God has truly blessed her with talent!! I truly treasure you Angie!!!
Here is my creation!!!
There is no dp on my creation, just black stamping on white with some slight coloring on the daisies with a black frame. The Tree bookmarks (sentiment from Bookmark Verses) are cut out with the customized bookmarks available at ODBD.
