For the Love of Wood Anniversary Hop

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi- monthly For the Love Blog Hop. This week's hop is special since Our Daily Bread Designs is celebrating it's fifth year anniversary. ODBDSLC146 Happy Anniversary ODBD!!

Happy Tuesday all!! I hope you are all having a fantastic week!! It is a gorgeous spring day with 60 degree weather and sunshine as I write this post!! It is amazing how the weather affects your attitude and ambition. God's creation is beginning to look a lot more like Spring as well with the trees budding...the grass turning greener...what a miracle!!

Today I would like to share a card for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light challenge. This week marks the 5th year Anniversary at ODBD. Our challenges and events this week are a celebration!! Hope you have a chance to join us for the many events!!

This week's Shining the Light challenge is to make an Anniversary card with silver (since silverware is the gift for a 5th year anniversary).

ODBD Anniversary Linky Party Celebration

March is an exciting month for Our Daily Bread Designs as it celebrates it's fifth year anniversary!! Kelley so appreciates the customers of Our Daily Bread Designs and is excited for the opportunity to celebrate with them today with the ODBD Anniversary Linky Party celebration!!! I am so excited to join in the celebration as well!!

Here is my creation using the newly released image:

Cake Single and the older set Sweet Christmas Wishes for the sentiment. The tag uses the newly released Recipe and tags dies from ODBD.

I used Bramble Roses from MME and Bo Bunny Miss Collection with a black base, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourishes and a bow created with the May Arts Silk and the Bow Easy. The embossing folder is SU.

ODBDSLC145 A Blessed New Beginning

Hello Friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! Today I am popping in to share a creation I made for the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs.

Our challenge is a sketch!!!

Here is my take on the sketch using Recipe Card Icons and All Occasion Sentiments from Our Daily Bread Designs. I truly feel white and cream cards are so elegant for weddings so I went with a cream color scheme. The embossing folder used is Blooms from Stampin Up (retired). The bow is created with Becca's Bow Maker and Wrinkled Ivory Ribbon from May Arts. The cake is embossed in silver, cut out and mounted on a Swiss Dots (Provocraft) background. The die used to frame the cake is the Spellbinders Venetian Motifs.

ODBD March Release Blog Hop

For my project today... I decided to make a gift set including a ....

.... cupcake holder I created using a Hey Cupcake template from My Time Made Easy and the fun sets: Baking Tag Sentiment and Baking Gift Tags from Our Daily Bread Designs. The tags are stamped in SU Bridal Bouquet and cut out with the Custom ODBD Recipe Card and Tag dies.
