I need a whole pot of coffee this a.m.

Ohmygosh, I overslept this a.m. by 20 minutes!  Luckily, that didn't make anyone late, but maaaannn... I'm tired this a.m.!  Thank goodness for coffee.  Hot, steaming, delcious coffee!

I created this card using The Stamps of Life Coffee4two stamp set on the Regal stand up die card.  It was recently my birthday and I got a couple gifts of coffee, so this Thanks a latte Thank you card seemed perfect.  :)
card closed...
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to fill my cup with more coffee!  TFL.  HAVE A GREAT DAY!!  :)

feels like fall

Yeah, not really.  It's still summer and hot, but the kids are back in school and fall decor  is already in all the stores.... I was inspired this afternoon to create these two cards. For this one, I used the tsol turkey2stamp set and matching die along with Sizzix scalloped rectangle frame die, and leaves and pumpkins from tsol thanks2fall stamp set.
First I cut out the frame which creates two shapes.... the middle section and the frame. I stamped the turkey on the middle piece, then again on a matching scrap piece of cardstock and cut out using the full turkey die.  Colored the images... I inked up the frame with versamark ink and embossed it with stampendous silver fantage. The photo does not do it justice. I love this EP. :-) I lined up and glued the turkey pieces together then glued the frame on. The pumpkins were stamped, cut out by hand and tucked into the frame. The leaves were stamped on the cardstock using versamark ink.
Same products used on this card, except the leaves were embossed with Indian corn Ep. Quick and easy. TFL :-)

Let's Talk Turkey!

Three new exclusive dies have been released over at The Stamps of Life, today.  Click on over and see what they are.  I just looooove this turkey2stamp set.  Isn't it adorable?  I'm also addicted to having matching dies for the stamps, so guess what?!?  There is now a die set to go with it!  I have a few cards to share with you.....

Here's a turkey shaped card!  These would also make really cute, quick and easy place cards, too.

Stand up cards are so fun.  The little turkey is adorable!

Here I used just the feather part of the die to create a border of different patterned papers.  It's not just for Turkeys. :)

Another a stand up card.  Look all the layers of feathers.

A flip it card (this is the circle flip it #2)..

 TFL!

FBD digi release blog hop

Hello there!!  Thanks for stopping by!  I'm excited and honored to be part of today's new digi release at Fresh Brewed Designs; one of my favorite places!

Isn't she beautiful?.... and sparkly!  A NEW just released Mermaid at Fresh Brewed Designs.  Oceane.
She is the focal point of this stand up card:  I found that mermaid saying on the internet and printed it in word using differnt fonts and colors.  Real sand and shell for embellishments.  :)
Here is the card front (closed)
You can purchase this beauty and others like her, HERE!

Leave a comment and you could win a FBD rubber stamp!

This is one of my favorite FBD rubber stamps, Candy Corn Girl.  Perfect for fall and Halloween. She's actually quite versitle.. mask off/cover up the spider with a flower.  Fill her bowl with popcorn, fruit, etc.  She's super fun and she can be yours if your name is picked.  :)

Thanks for checking out FBD!

Today is the day!

Today is my birthday!  Happy Birthday to me!  ;)

I'm also officially announcing that I am now part of The Stamps of Life DT!  I am *so* excited and honored to be part of it.  I love the TSOL stamps and dies!  And how perfect is it that the Stamp of the Month for August is candles4birthdays!?  Below are some cards I created using the stamp set and matching dies to go with it. Die club members get their dies with the stamps mailed out on the first- oh, that's today!  If you're not, dies are available the 20th of the month.  Check it out HERE.

I've always loved to make shaker cards.  Although, I probably hadn't made one in years? However,  I've noticed people are making them again, so inspired by it, I created one here (I also made one for the cardmaker blog hop last week, which you can see here, if you missed it).

I only die cut the candle in the middle for the shaker. The stamp set came with fun polka dot patterns and solid...

I had this idea to die cut several pieces and glue them together to create a more dimensional embellishment.  The funny thing is that I just saw a card, after I made this one, using a die in a similar way, but even better!  They die cut in different colors so they had a stamp of rainbow layers.  I need to try that.  In the meantime, here's my next card...........

The Stamps of Life also carries lots of great buttons for your project.  I used a black one on my candle...

and the inside.......

For this card, I used embossing candle die.... Just like a real ridge birthday candle.  I added some dimensional glaze for dripping wax.

I used three different pink Tim Holtz distress markers with water to create the splash of color.   The brads can be found in The Stamps of Life store!  Lots of colors!   :)

Check out TSOL gallery for more ideas!
