Sunday activitys

Outside it´s raining and for once it´s ok. Yesterday my son got a tick and now I´m so scared to let them play outside.

Time flies

The drawing was the first thing I did after becoming a mother. It took me a year or so. And I can´t belive that it´s more then 1 years since I made that drawing... time flies.

Finally friday

It's been a hard day's night, and I've been working like a dog. It's been a hard day's night, I should be sleeping like a log. But when I get home to you, I'll find the things that you do, will make me feel alright.

Great swedish collaboration

Collaborations are great. This is between the designgroup called 10-gruppen and the fashion designer and illustrator Lovisa Burfitt. She used their textilfabric and made a collection that is called "Buffalo Boop". Something to dream about!

This morning I was on a course with my job, a bit boring but I like when there is a opportunity to just listen and draw. This might be some future Myrkott work...
And the sun is back in Gothenburg, atleast for a quick peep.

Christian Pontus Andersson

Today I bought the magazine "konstperspektiv" and there I found this really nice article about Christian Pontus Andersson. The last sculpture is called "oh lord, to follow her own law is not the way of the trannie". Lovely! And the Trannie is riding on a wave of soft icecream.

Good news

Two good news today, or perhaps even three... First: The work with Myrkott is going well, better than expected! I know we have Elisabeth and petit magazine to thank for that:)
Second: I got a scholarship, 5000:-. GREAT:)
And third: it´s midsummer and NO work for three days!

Fruitsalad

I/we love making fruitsalads with the season fruits, (and a touch of tropical fruits). Great book about "tummen" came in the mail today. I like Lasse Sandbergs illustrations.

I have always liked the drawings of Tina Karlsson , but latley shes also been doing fabulous wallpaper.

Hang-up on blue

Today I had some kind of hang-up on blue, and the drawing turned out crap. There is something about blue that I hate/like. I can imagine that Yves Klein also had a hang-up on blue, but he turned it into something good...
