Mud Bug Boil
Yep, it's what it looks like. Crawfish, crawdads, crayfish, mudbugs, whatever you want to call them. The potatoes, onions and corn were cooked in a big pot first with some seasonings. Then the crawfish were added. Frank and Glenn had a good time. Amber and Luke even tried them and liked them. I think Frank would have done Troy (a friend from Louisiana) proud!!!
Garden Market
Andrew and I volunteer for Heart & Hand Ministries this year by working at their Garden Market. Local growers bring their produce in and we sell it for them.
Andrew rings up customers, helps the growers unload their produce and helps out with anything that needs done.
This is Calvin. He's one of the volunteers. In the background in Georgie. She's the boss-lady.

Road trip with my Boy! Washington, D. C.
Andrew and I hit the road again with his friend, Tracy. We had to go to DC to pick up Amber, who had been in Georgia. So, we decided to take advantage of the trip and hit some tourist spots. First up, the National Zoo!
I picked up a monkey along the way.
We saw zebras.
This panda was having a great time eating bamboo.
This sign was interesting.
Baby hippopotomos.
Baby elephant!
Loved this photo!
Isn't he cute?
He was so photogenic!
Big ole turtle!
Giant crabby! I took this picture for Lacey and Papaw and Grandma. It's shell is a little bigger than my fist.
Andrew took this photo. Love the reflection in the water.
Beautiful falls.
Our second stop was at the Washington Mall. We walked around a bit and then went to the Smithsonian.
This museum was closed on my last two visits. So, I was glad to be able to check it out this time.
Archie Bunker's chair is still on exhibit as well as Dorothy 's ruby red slippers from the Wizard of Oz.

Road trip with my Boy! Niagara Falls, NY!
We visited the Castellani Museum on the campus of Niagara University. They had a special exhibit of aprons! Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me take pictures of the exhibit.
Campus!
Andrew stuck his finger in George Bernard Shaw's ear!
Steven and Nancy outside the museum! These are our wonderful friends that we stayed with.
We had dinner at Chilis. Yum!
This is the dessert we brought home. It's a white chocolate molten lava cake in berry sauce! It was delicious! I was so excited to see this on the menu. I've only seen chocolate lava cake, not white chocolate lava cake. (I'm allergic to chocolate but can eat white chocolate).
Andrew and I stopped by the Galleria Mall on the way home. And I bought my first Kathy Van Zeeland bag. Isn't it pretty??? Andrew calls it my bowling ball bag. Best part, it was 75% off at Macy's! Woo Hoo! Gotta love a sale!
