Busy........

At times I can say that I am just to LAZY to post a new blog, but I have to say that lately i have just been too BUSY. With what? I'm not sure, but here is a quick update on a few of our fun highlights.

Seriously? Bennett still loves his frog and he was letting him hop all over in the bathroom one day. It totally creeps me out. Bennett's goal in life is to get me to hold it, no thank you!

My nephew Parker turned 10 last week and he had his birthday party with our family at a bowling alley. I wasn't sure how my boys would like it, but Bennett wants to go back everyday, and Grayson couldn't get enough of the place. Here are a few pics of our fun night:

My mom has been in town for two weeks helping my sisters family move and we decided to go on a fun adventure to Mission Viejo Lake one morning. We thought renting peddle boats was a good idea...not so much. It was so hard with all of the little kids, they couldn't really peddle, so it was more work for us. We lasted only about half of the time. It was still fun though.

My mom got stuck with all the "big" kids, well not big, but the biggest in our group and she had to do extra hard work since Bennett and Payton couldn't do too much. Sorry!

Monica and I could both peddle, but our kids were too little to sit still on the back alone. Not a good combo!

Then, last night our friends had a pirate party, and if you know Wade and I you know we are usually the party poopers that don't dress up. So, literally an hour before the party started we decided to go for it and this is what we came up with:

Not bad for not spending a dollar, and last minute. It was a fun party, we were glad we went and now maybe next time we will dress up again!

And last but not least....Grayson is so big and silly. I don't know what to do with this kid!

Surprise

I'm not one to admit when it is my birthday, or to get attention put on myself in any way, but I do have to document my first real surprise maybe in my life!!! Today is my 30th bday and we were invited by my twin sister to attend a bbq that her and her friend were throwing because they both were turning 30 today as well. So i mentioned to Wade that it was going to be weird going to a bday party on "my" bday! Anyways, little did i know he had rigged up a little surprise get together for me with some friends. We started by celebrating at my favorite BJ's Pizza with my family.....

There are benefits to having two birthday girls, they bring you two pizookies! Yummy.
Then after dinner we stopped by my friend Elizabeth's house to "sign a notary" when the next thing i know i am walking through the door to have people yell "SURPRISE." I was SO shocked, i think I even said a bad word. Oops. If any of you are twins or know twins, this is totally unusual that I even made it to this event without knowing. It was embarrassing, but it was so sweet of Wade and my friends and we ended up having a fun night. Thanks everyone.
