C7: August 17th-19th, 2001

Thanks to all attendees for a fabulous time, and making the gathering great.

The new function of the C7 website will be a collection of links, photos, and a webring related to the event. It will also serve to archive documentation and correspondence related to the event, thus finally setting the record straight by providing the history of C7. Lastly. We still have some C7 merchandise available for those of you who missed the Goblin Market.

Webring & Photos

If you attended C7 and have a photos or write-ups online, we invite you to join the C7 Memories Webring! The submission form appears at the bottom of this page.

Do you have photos but no webspace? You can submit files for hosting on Convergence7.com's own photo archive! Please email c7photos@convergence7.com with a list of file sizes and we'll send you further instructions.

Preliminary Documentation

  • The C7 Budget:This document is still being updated and revised as we go through our paperwork and pay off lingering debts. It's posted to give an idea of our overall expenditures. Feel free to check the page periodically.
  • Staff Page: Our staff page didn't make it into the C7 booklet at the last minute. We had many volunteers who deserve recognition and praise for their accomplishments.

T-Shirt Orders

C7 t-shirts weren't sold at the evening events, and, as a result, we have received numerous requests from people who still want a C7 souvenir! We have a limited supply of t-shirts left over, and we'll be selling them via PayPal. Most of the shirts are XL, but we still have a few in L, M, and baby-T sizes. T-shirts will be available for $20 each, plus shipping. Sales will begin in about a week. Please email tshirts@convergence7.com to reserve your shirts.

Refunds

A small number of people purchased Convergence 7 tickets but were unable to attend due to health-related or otherwise completely understandable reasons. For these persons, we are offering refunds. Requests can be sent to refunds@convergence7.com. If we find that your order was processed but tickets were not picked up at C7 Registration, we will send you a refund through PayPal. (Thus people requesting a refund will need to set up a PayPal account, if they have not done so already.)

About Convergence

Convergence is the annual net.goth convention and music festival. Convergence has grown into the largest gothic/industrial gathering in North America and holds the distinction of having the longest continuous run of any such event anywhere.

Every year, several hundred black-clad people assemble in an elected city and prove that Convergence is, without a doubt, the ultimate bacchanal for the darkly inclined. Convergence is 100% grassroots and nonprofit -- it's organized by people like you for people who share your interests. It's a party of grand proportions, and the seventh Convergence, in 2001, was no exception.

For more information on C7, please use the pull-down menus at the top of this page. Or cruise through the C7 Memories Webring, below, to see the event through the eyes of those who enjoyed it most!
