since we last met... well, havn't i been a slack little bunny. things have been happening and i havn't got up and blabbered about them, i dunno. things that have happened since i got back got back to hamilton made my flares even cooler rocky horror moved into the old flat started making my room pretty not necessarilly in that order though. jesus. a month, and i can only think of five things =/ well, i came back. we partied like it was 1999, eventually, we came to the conclusion that considering that all my stuff was here and trent moved to whitianga, that i should start paying rent, and i could have a room to myself and everything. so thats kinda cool. the whole gang reuniting and all. but too many messy people in one house is bad =/ and i sewed new things onto my flares! a pretty light blue bit, and lots of safety pins with pretty on them. neato. and i syed my hair. and i've got some red for when its apropriate, so expect a laugh if you see me. mmm and we went to rocky horror! funfun! i would have liked to be more motivated though, as i jsut went in street-garb, and it made me feel bad =( but i did hit a girl in the face with a toilet roll, so thats ok. now, i need to find red paint, a stepladder, a paint roller, and a staple gun...help? time for a real post um. well, i thought it'd be good manners, and all, so heres a real post. only problem is, i cant think of anything to write about, and that always hampers making a real post. hmm. anyway, didn't do much today. tried valiantly to draw a picture of someone out of pink floyd (i admit, i have no idea who is who, i only like their music, and on the whole, their album covers). i then found out that i had never actually looked inside the album cover pamphlet thing since i purchaced it. well, not even then. i hadn't even looked at the track listing on the back. SCARY SHIT. but its pink floyd, and its dark side of the moon, and i had listened to it a thousand times before i actually got it, so i suppose that kinda forgives my ... whatever the word is. anyway, it kinda shocked me still, but now i've looked in it, so its alright, right? oh, it might put some perspective into the equation if i note that i cant remember when i actually purchaced it. it could have been while i was in hamilton (between one and seven months ago), or it could have been while i was in whangarei (over seven months ago). hmm. perhaps i did look at it and cant remember anymore...damnit. nevermind -orph (possibly but not definitly from morph) ps: what is quixotic? uh...dont get too excited... made an update of my page. i broke the rules and put in pictures. but they're pretty, so i suppose thats ok. and if you dont like it, get a retracting ruler, you poxy bastard. Current Mood: uncomfortable | Tuesday, August 7th, 2001 | 11:33 pm |
i'm so crazy, i could eat a cheese i just ate a cheese. this is not in itself a strange thing. the preperation of the cheese in particular was the thing that struck me as strange. it was a special Frying Cheese. not surprisingly, it tasted like chicken. (apologies to all those who i've already droned on to about the subject) Current Mood: crazy | Monday, August 6th, 2001 | 11:24 pm |

mmmm, cookiecookiecookiecookie. milk and cookies are GOOOOOOD well, i've just been hanging around home* and not doing a hell of a lot recently. i found some white and black nail polish and, of course, now i have alternate white-black nails. fun fun. if only i could find some face pastels so i could color half my face in a checkerboard pattern, ala a particular sandman comic (although my name isn't barbie, i still think it looks groovy). but i'll guess that'll have to wait. and i should hope for colder times for that too, so less sweat destroys it. hmmm...good style takes time. what else...been doing very little of comment recently, really. hanging around, reading emails, watching videos, chatting on irc, thinking. not really anything to write home about. not that i'm complaining, of course, as its with the beloved sarah =) woo woo =) looking forward to going home though. well, looking forward to see if i can actually prove myself and get a real job. i've been thinking a lot about it recently, and i've decided that i'm going to give up the devil weed (not cigarettes, silly) untill i get myself a real job. this'll be sore, and i'll have difficulty resisting, of course, but if it works, then at least i'll be motivated to get a job, and an income. not like days of old, where i lay back and let things slide. icky tidings they are. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about this, and i hope to spend long days while sarah's at school readingup on TCP/IP, CSS, HTML, and all sorts of wonderful and profitable ideas. i suppose at the worst, i'll get a nice web page and a decent wage at Kmart. anyway, i cant really remember anything else nice to say, except that NEW JACKASS EPISODES ARE ON AT LEAST FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS AT MIDNIGHT IN SWITZERLAND wooo wooo! hooray for silly americans hurting themselves! hooray for MTV =) * home being the current place i live. of course, its not MY home, as has been my style of late, but i felt i needed to be correct Current Mood: bouncyCurrent Music: Rasputina - Rusty the skate maker | Saturday, July 21st, 2001 | 1:08 am |
bugger well, looks like the work permit isn't going to work after all...meaning i wont be getting the job at brother most probably...so see you all in september | Tuesday, July 17th, 2001 | 10:54 pm |
werd hmmm, well. not much has happened, except i went to a three day open air, watched dancer in the dark, and _perhaps_ got a job at brother. groovy, huh? open airthis was fun, only i got incredible sunstroke and a painful headache the first night, so that sucked. but i only missed out on erica badu, so thats ok, i guess. second night was hella-groovy. watched a bit of motorhead, all of swandive, a fair chunk of die rtze (german punk stuff), and some kinda stuff like that. die rtze were being the general piss-at-the-audience selves, which was ok, since they had lots of explosives and light-show stuff, motorhead...well, were motorhead, and i could hear them from wherever i was on the festival grounds, which was good, considering that was what i was hoping for, and swandive rawked the boxen of anything. utter class. damn groovy. well, perhaps i just thought that 'cos i was like in the frount rows. but it had been raining all day, and i still didn't mind, so it couldn't have been that bad. day two. rain, rain, mud, cold, k's choice, PJ harvey, rushing to get home. rain was nice. mud was fun. cold sucked. k's choice was full of gits trying to hide from the rain in the tent (or so i heard, i stayed out of the tent for the same reason) and PJ harvey was moist, but again, fun. her being the crowd pleaser that everyone wanted and all. the rush home...sucked, of course, but since we made it, after all, it wasn't that bad. dancer in the darkdamn awesome movie. bloody sad though. watch it. 'nuff said ((c) 2001 some planetquake dude) job...well, i may have a job at brother switzerland, babysitting their network while the guy who normally does that job is off learning all about SAP. it only depends on the work permit stuff, but once that works out, i'm in for $4k swiss franks a month (monthly, ugh) before tax and such. which is pretty groovy, imho, especially considering i get complimentary coke and espresso coffee =). oh, and four weeks a year annual leave =) and bonuses, based on company profit. woo woo. which looks like i'll be getting a sweet 4k in december, aparantly. mm. apart from all that, it might not happen, so dont ask for business cards, complimentary printers, etc quite yet. till next post... Current Mood: complacentCurrent Music: some german movie...if that is even music... | Tuesday, July 10th, 2001 | 9:09 pm |
mmm-hmmm well, as i'm a shameless git, heres some spam go to my website. now. or i'll eat your first-born, mince your family into small bits, and feed them to hungry afghani frogs. this may not be true << link>> | Thursday, June 7th, 2001 | 6:01 pm |
two days to go... woo! two days to go till i get to be in Whangarei again! woo! i mean, its not like its a great city or anything, or that i expect anything great from it, but it means i very well may be warm again. i wonder what that'll be like? AND i'll be back with all my old buddies too ^_^ woo! i found another appreciater of soul kitchen. crazy shit, i mean, its a great song, and i expect most people who've heard it love it, but the thing is that hardly anyone has actually heard it, 'cos its on such an obscure album (from what i've noticed). in saying all this, i only heard of it last Easter for the first time, but still, its a damn great song. and more people should damn well be exposed to it. so there Current Mood: sickCurrent Music: The Doors - Soul Kitchen | 11:00 am |
