11:05 pm - more survey junk
The March Hare

You're blunt and open, and have a reputation for being ruthless. Blood and gore don't bother you, and neither do the reactions of other people when you tell them exactly what you think of them. In fact, you say what you mean quite often, and nothing seems to affect you at all. You are comfortable with who you are, but you're also quite insane.

10:43 pm - wow i just can't seem to think of anything interesting
Well, it has been awhile since i last did this. It seems to be quite difficult to find interesting things to put in this thing (Hmmm let's see i got stoned and then i.... trailing off). Anywho the holidaze are OVER!!!! thank freakin Bob. I tell ya what a cluster fuck. Can we cram more shit we have to do before the end of the year gawddamnit. Between school ending, work getting extremely busy, family functions, getting gifts where they are supposed to go, could it be more annoying. Bosh flimshah bah humbug. Okay breathing slowing, heart rate lowering, urge to kill subsiding, all right i'm ok now whooo! Okay here are some survey results:

I will happily recruit the help of friends to aid me in getting what I want. I have no tolerance for people getting in my way, and I am completely relentless until any threats or opposition are removed. I try to be down-to-earth, but something always seems to get in the way. I rock just as hard as the rest of the thrash set, except when no ones looking I like to get down with a little "More than a Feeling."

12:54 pm - Dinosaur Jr. concert attempt four....
Okay, I'm new here but you may already know me as the Rev. Dr. Baron Von Krapptauer's roommate. I also work at the bar. J. Mascis played last night and it was pretty cool. There some german girl there who was supposedly a victoria's secret model. She was kind of wierd looking. I wouldn't say that she was unnattractive but there was definitely something very genetically engineered about her. It was slightly unnnerving. Anyway this is the fourth time i've tried to see Dinosaur Jr. or related shows (solo J. or The Fog). It would seem that no matter how I tried I am predestined not to see or not to enjoy any J. Mascis related events. I think I will quit trying now. The first attempt was when I was seventeen I think it was the "You're Living All Over Me" tour. Not having a car at the time, It left me to the whims of my friends with car access. Although I had tix I was unable to procure a ride. I think tix were about $10. Attempt two was an even more miserable event known as the Milan Dragway Lollapalooza. Anyone who was there knows the tale I am about to weave. I went there basically to see Dino Jr. the added bonus of Babes in Toyland. Anyway, the day was a blistering inferno of heatstroke,$10 bottles of WATER!!!, and a near tornado that almost destroyed the stage scaffold (and it happened when....wait for it....Dino Jr. just took the stage) Tix cost $35. Okay attempt three, J. Mascis and the Fog play AT THE BAR WERE I WORK. Should be a slam dunk right! WRONGO! I got scheduled to work in the basement bar (no show fer me). At this point I have seen about 10 min. of them playing at Milan and about 10 min. of a sound check I walked in on. Which brings us up to last night, in an odd change of events J. Mascis plays at the bar AGAIN!! pretty sure i'm going to see a lot of the show this time...THINK AGAIN!! I am scheduled to manage the show which means i spend most of the day buy the artist hospitality (veggie trays etc..) the show goes by relatively smoothly. But because of my management duties i still missed a lot of the show.

my calculations are as follows:

$45 in tix
2 shifts of work were I should have seen two full sets
and i have seen appox. 35-40 mins. of show

it just aint meant fer me to see i guess.
