Wow...such a good, productive day, and I hardly did anything! The LJ fantasy league I was promoting is already going good. If my calculations are correct, I already have eight people that are interested in playing. So it'll actually happen! Yay! I also have two new LJ friends. One came from me asking about baseball, and the other is my friend Rachel. She was one of my very first internet friends oh so many years ago! So everyone say hi to tbone and reighchull! I sold my car! I got $350 from an old friend. It's $150 less than I was hoping for, but $350 more than I was expecting. So it's all good! For the first time in almost five years, I don't own a Nova... The best part of the day though is my vacation. It's actually going to happen. I didn't think I'd be able to go (cause Fed Ex sucks), but I leave a week from tomorrow. And I spend a week in California with darkbutterfly. ::dances:: I should probably sleep real soon. I'm very tired and have a bad headache. |

With the exception of one individual, I don't believe I have any baseball fans on my friends list. The following entry is only for those who like baseball and I could be wasting my time, but I have plenty of time to waste.... Does anyone feel like playing fantasy baseball this year? I'm thinking of making a Livejournal Fantasy Baseball League. Basically it will just be a league of owners that have livejournals. Fantasy baseball, for those that don't know, is a game that's based on real life baseball. People take turns drafting baseball players and what they do during the season affects your team. It is a lot of fun to play, especially for those that really like baseball. I was thinking of having an email draft. Each owner takes a turn emailing his selection to the list of owners. So the person drafting first sends his selection to everyone. And then after that is sent, the second person sends his selection. And then it goes on like that. That method of drafting does take a couple of months to perform, but it is the only way to do it when the players in the league live all over the country. It will be your standard, run of the mill fantasy league and we'll probably have the stats done by yahoo. So, anyone interested? |

Well I had to take anonymous commenting off of my journal cause of that anonymous weirdo running around. Not like it matters, no one has ever posted anonymously in my journal before that thing. Today I must clean my room. It's official. It's messy. So I shall clean it. Hrrmmmmm...well, I think that's about it...Yeah. I'm leaving now. Bye! |

Well I jumped in the water today. I had almost forgot how much that hurt! Not to mention it was low tide. I had to run in shin deep water or like 150 feet just to get knee deep so I could dive in! When I got out I could't feel my feet or my hands at all. And my sides were very hurting. And I couldn't breathe. But I lived. Not happily though. I got hot chocolate. That was yum. Brrrrr...It's going to take me 364 days to recooperate. Just so I can do it again. I'm being stalked! Someone randomly IMed me last night and started saying weird, dumb things. And now they're anonymously posting in my journal. Some people are weeeird. I was forced to eat Mcdonalds tonight cause nothing else was open. I think I'm going to post a rant about holidays later. But not now. I'm gonna go watch a movie methinks. Who's with me?! CHARGE!!!!!!!! |

Wow...Damn it's cold out. I just heard a loud bang. The kind of loud bang that signifies a car got hit in front of my house again. So I ran outside cause the cars that get hit always seem to be mine. But it wasn't mine. It was a hit and run of course. The driver was probably drunk. I live on a busy street. Parking on both sides. Gets kinda crowded. People ran out from another house. Kids, like 18 or so. They were friends of the owner I guess. It was a nice, shiny black car. And 18 year old guys really care about their cars. Sucks to be him. Thankfully it wasn't me though. Yay. But now I'm friggin cold. |

Did I mention that I'm sick! Cause I am. Not much, but I got a sore throat. Tomorrow I'm testing out a revolutionary cure all! I'm jumping into the ocean. My system will be so shocked that all the bad stuff will run away! Right? Sure! It'll be the second year in a row that I do the Polar Bear Plunge. It was one of the more painful things that I've done. But I'll do it again dammit! So this could be my last post ever. Cause the water may kill me this year. If I do survive, maybe I'll do something new years like write a year in review. Or make a resolution r soemthing. Who knows. |

Well I missed New Years. I had to be at work from 9-12. Just enough to screw up any plans I could have made. Just enough for me to miss midnight. And just enough to really piss me off. As soon as I don't need Fed Ex anymore and I have a real job, I going to blow it up. But anyways...I'm going to give reviews now! Cause I've seen movies, heard cds, and played games! I'm bad at reviews of course. I can't say why it was good or why it was bad. I can just say that it was what it was. Saw Charlie's Angels last night. Probably the dumbest movie I've ever seen. Not the worst. I wasn't sitting there through the whole thing waiting for it to end, and one or two parts did make me laugh a bit. But it was incredibly dumb. The plus side of the movie was that I've decided that Cameron Diaz should be my girlfriend. Of the three CDs I bought, two were pretty good. I liked Collective Soul. I now have three Collective Soul CDs! I spose they're one of my favorites. I also liked the PotUSA CD that I got. It's a shame that they broke up. And I bought a Pearl Jam CD, Vitalogy. I've never been their biggest fan, but supposably they're one of the ones that's shaped rock music to what it is today. One of the biggest bands of the 90s and whatnot. The famous songs like Better Man were pretty good. But I've found out why today's music sucks so bad. It's cause bands that shaped rock music like Pearl Jam suck so bad! Sheesh. After actually buying one of their CDs and listening to it a couple of times I'm going to have to throw them up there with the Beetles as the most over-rated bands that suck of all time. ANd the game! The game is/was good. Zoo Tycoon. It's fun. I think I'll like it more when I get to bigger levels. And...well that's bout it. |

Today was actually almost slightly productive! I cleaned up a bit. I'm in the middle of doing some dishes right now actually! But the fun part was spending money! I used the gift certificates that I got for Christmas. So I bought three CDs (Pearl Jam, Collective Soul, and Presidents of the USA) and a computer game. The computer game looks really cool! Zoo Tycoon. The way the website on the back of the game is printed made me laugh. Now I can't help but pronounce the game Zooty Coon! Apparently you can put different aminals together and if they don't like eachother they fight! So guess who's going to spend all night (after work, of course) watching penguins and polar bears go at it!!! |

I didn't post about this yesterday like I was going to. Too lazy perhaps. I don't know... But anyways, I have a public announcement for everyone! Never ingest battery acid. It may sometimes be shiny, but it's not tasty. I carried my radio into work and after leaving it in the truck for a couple days I thought that the wetness was some kind of dew or something. So I thought nothing of it. Then during the pre-work meeting, my fingers got kinda funny feeling. So the natural thing to do (for me of course) is to put them in my mouth! Immediately that's when my tongue starting going numb. THat's when I figured out what was happening. So I drank a couple bottles of water and went through work with a numb tongue. It was kinda tingly and didn't feel very nice. It spread a bitdown my throat too. BUt I lived! Still, I recommed that you do not try it. Yesterday I did a bit of shopping. I still had to get my brother a christmas present. Actually I was looking for something for me, and just kinda stumbledon something for him, but that's besides the point! I bought him a radio controlled fire truck. It's amazing what you can get for $20 these days. It's big and red adn very shiny and the ladder goes up and down and around! I want it! I should go. I have mucho stuff to do today. And Jenny is distracting me! ::kicks Jenny:: |

Take the What Should Your New Year's Resolution Be? Quiz Yes, I have stated on many occasions how much I hate these tests, but this one had stick figures! I can't resist stick figures. I rarely make New Year's resolutions and if I do then I stick to them for all of about a week. So since I have such a great track record of failing, I shall really make this my New Year's resolution just so I can fail again! |

I realize that cats are pretty much useless and in almost every way inferior to dogs, but are all cats this incredibly stupid or is it just mine? My cat is whining and crying and meowing because she hasn't eaten in three days. She has a dish filled with food. I'm not being cruel and not feeding her. But she doesn't like the food. The cat is so dumb she'll starve to death before she eats food that she doesn't like. I'm sure as hell not going to change it just because she doesn't like it. When I woke up I dumped her untouched food from the day before and gave her new food, but she still doesn't like it. I hope she at least has the decency to wait for my mom to get home before she drops dead. I don't want to deal with the body. The other day I noticed something pretty disturbing. I don't own any crayons. Nor have I owned any for a very long time. So I went out and bought some. And I own crayons now! So who wants to have an authentic Brian Martin crayon drawing?! Today's been pretty boring. Got some errands out of the way and that's about it. Watched some TV at Diane's while I washed my clothes there. I don't understand why the movie Baseketball got such horrible reviews. It's such a great movie. If you don't get goose bumps when you hear Little Bitch's friendship speech while standing on the Mulakkalakka board of trust, then you're just not human! I shall now go back to my baseball related stuff.... |

It's 4am and I'm not even in a bad mood yet! Woo! Work didn't suck. It only lasted three and a half hours. Yay for Christmas being over! I also found out at work that my vacation may not be ruined just yet... I made a clone of myself today! He got thrown in jail for stealing the salt. So I stole some salt too. I got thrown in the cell with him. Then I put him in my pocket and we broke out. And then he started dancing when the band puke on him! Yay! Blah, bed. |

I just spent two hours going over the Houston Astros system. Why the Astros? Because espn.com did an article covering them. It's the first team that they covered and every two days they will be doing another team. My goal is to know, at least the major league team, of each organization, backwards and forward. I scribbled down line-ups, stats, prospects, the whole sha-bang! By the time the baseball season starts I will be a fantasy baseball king! I shall rule the WSL for years to come. |

I've only posted half as much as Jenny! She's up to entry 998 according to her last post and this is my 491. She posts a lot more than I do. And she's had it much longer. But we're both about to reach important milestones! We should have a big combined party and invite all our LJ friends! Yesterday wasn't too bad. Family stuff in the afternoon. We ate a big lunch and lots of junk. Then we opened our prezzies. I didn't get much of anything good, but that's usual. I had to deal with two screaming kids though. One is like 6 months old, the other 2 and a half. They make me seriously reconsider wanting to have kids. After that I went over an old friend from work's house. I found out his sister is the very same girl that was engaged to my friend up until two weeks ago. It's a very small world! I tried Jello shots for the first time! Those are kinda yum, but they're too much work. We watched a nice holiday movie. Predator. Then we watched one of his police academy videos. Everyone in his class had to be sprayed in the face with mace and then tackle and handcuff a struggling guy. It looked like fun! :-D Then after that we had our winter meetings for our fantasy baseball league. It's going to be much fun! We're having a keeper league with contracts and minor leagues and all of that fun stuff. Kellen never showed p though and Mike was sick so it didn't go as planned. I was hoping to eat pizza and play video games all night, but we mostly just talked about the league for an hour or so and then it was all over. Ah well. Well I just got a phone call. So I must sign off line and call back and stuff. Ummm...yeah. Bye! |

Today wasn't too horrible. But first I'd like to mention work on Sunday! Work wasn't so bad. Apparently it was my turn to take the traditional Christmas ride. For three years in a row, very close to Christmas, a truck has accidently pulled off the door while the conveyor belt and employees were still in it. Sunday was my turn. Me and my friend felt the trailor hook up and we kinda figured something was going on. But we kept going figuring maybe he was just impatient and wanted to pull off right when we were done. But nope, he pulled off with us stil in it. The conveyor belt was sticking 45' out of the building and we were laughing our asses off and going for a ride. It was fun. Then after work we had pizza, and lots of it. I like sitting around with friends making fun of eachother and eating pizza. Now on to today! I was up at 9. And I played lots of video games, coded a bit of my house, and dabbled in fantasy baseball. Then I went over to relatives house. I'm such a jerk. I intentionally don't shave for a couple of days before these family function things. My family will be semi-dressy and I show up unshaved and waearing a pair of jeans and the weirdest tshirt I can find. Today I wore my "One by one the penguins stole my sanity" shirt. No one got it. But that's ok. I don't even get it. My uncle officially thinks I'm a freak at least. That part was fun. The tshirt confuzzled him and then he found out that I'll be jumping into the ocean next week. He wants to go and see. The thing that really topped it though was the Taco Bell incident. He's a collector of all things Taco Bell Dog. And he thought it was pretty cool when my mom said that I'm using the Taco Bell flag for a curtain. He really thought I was weird though after he found out how I got the flag. I think I'm going to go and find more food or something. ::runs away:: Oh yeah! But before I go, BAH HUMBUG! |

I got woke up this morning by a horrible nightmare! I was at work....well...that's it....that was the nightmare. It was so real too. Woke me up at 9am and I was thirsty so instead of going back to bed I figured I'd just stay up and play online and stuff. I've got plenty of stuff to keep me busy until my family stuff at 6. I'm not going to be late this year! I'll be right on time. That way I can leave even earlier than usual. Family. Blah. |

Earlier tonight I was going to write an entry about how work wasn't so bad and how I had a fairly good night. We got out of work before 10, we were fed pizza, and when I got home Katy was here. I worked on my cow and played some games. So it was a pretty good night. But now I'm in a bad mood. I think I must just get depressed when I'm tired or something. Ah well. I should sleep. |
