I dont really have anything worth saying, so you may want to disregard this. location: school, library. goal: trying to kill some time before next class. In film today we are going to watch Citizen Kane for our midterm. I just had some quality green tea from this new coffee bar downstairs here. I just read about 30 pages on Citizen Kane and Orson Welles, and i it actually was interesting. I've never read the whole chapter for my film class before this. The only reason i really did read it was because i had nothing better to do, but still none the less, it actually caught my attention some. well thats enough rambling for the moment. My mission has been completed. Only t-minus 10 minutes till class comences, it is time to meander down the hall... later kids have a nice day :o) |

This weekend turned out to be good. Christina was sick, so i didnt get to see her Thursday. But then Saturday i decided to go visit her since she was feeling better. I hung out with her for a while, good times...Then i went and hung out with George, it was nice, although my feet got all wet, so it was chilllllly that day. Yesterday Christina's family came over to celebrate my parnents birthdays..which was fun, i got to spend more time with chrissy. Last night Jenny and Shannon stopped by to see Christina, not to see me or anything...he he...but yeah it was nice to see BOTH of them. Shannon had some hardcore matrix action going on on the ab-doer. Jenny had some nice pictures up peoples noses... |

Last night was great. Tiffany Compton, Lauren Desilva, Little Shane (not neighbor), Kristin and I saw Catch 22/Grade/Student Rick and some other bands. Lauren was much fun to hang out with. She lost her shoe about half way through Catch, pretty funny. I guess at some point someone threw it and it flew by her head. he he. Her sock was so disgusting by the end, gross. Shane is hilarious. He started quoting Back to the Future II for like 5 minutes on the way home, it was possibly the funniest thing i've ever heard. saw jeanne. :o) In general, for being quite unplanned, it was great evening. all the bands were descent, catch was fun. good times. I got this huge energy rush afterward when i got home, i felt like running around outside and rolling in the snow or something, might've even done that... I'm now off to draw things that i dont feel like drawing... |

Memento: is an amazing movie. good. The Anniversary Party: has no ending. The dog AND the neighbors dissappear, and never come back leaving the movie unresolved. Evil Dead Two: NEVER AGAIN LET ME SAY I'M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR A CHEESY HORROR MOVIE...man i forget how funny those things really are... Last night i got to talk to Jon, we had a pretty decent conversation that provoked thought, it was really cool, i miss that kid. I learned today in film class that cheesy musicals are the best, they crack me up every time. Seriously; a laugh riot. There's this thing i kind of want to go to tonight at the Detroit Contemporary, it's some kind of metal show, i guess there is supposed to be like 9 bands, however i have no one to go with, and im not really in the mood to go alone, so i probably will end up not going... Lately i am really confused about life and exactly what i want. Suddenly i have a few options, and i'm not quite sure where to go with any of them. for now i will just try to go with the flow. |

well im not sick anymore, yay. But now of course i have to catch up with life. suck. I'll just have to concentrate on the fact that next Thursday i get to see Christina, and i get to see her all the way till saturday. sweet. Most definately that will be good times. I miss her. I was amused last night to discover Jack Black in a most compelling role in Disney's Airborne(1993). he got hurt in the nads and everything. Airborne is the story of a used to be surfer from cali moving and becoming a roller blader with seth green as his goofy cousin in beachless Cincinatti. well time to go do that catching up thing. |

so who went to their first day at a new job yesterday and got sick? who spent a half hour sitting on the bathroom floor next to a toilet? oh yeah, thatd be me. suck. I have the stomach flu or something, it started at work last night. I had the worst night of sleep ever last night. I took some nyquil around 4 am (when i found it) and it did help me to sleep, but then i woke up again unfortunately and feel pretty crappy. My stomach hurts, i think im hungry, but im afraid to eat. I really want to go to my classes today, and can't, suck. argh. that is all, i just needed to complain. |

Yesterday i'm pretty sure i was proposed to, ha ha ha. There are these African guys at work, and they dont speak english to well. Well anyways, i was setting things up yesterday morning and Malick(one of them) came in and just stood by where i was, then started talking.. Malick: You Jessica, right? me:yes Malick: you married? me: married? no. Malick: why not? me: um...hmm...i'm a little to young to get married. Malick: How old you? me: 19 Malick: no...... me:um, yeah. Malick: that not too young. *pause* How old do American women marry at? me: It's different for everyone. We dont have a set age. Malick: I 24. 4 years, 4 years. Not much. you can get married. me: uh huh.?. Malick: 4 years Jessica. Then at this point he left....hahaha. i was amused. A few nights ago i had a random dream. Basically somehow i believe i ended up at msu, and i ran into Shannon. It was odd, but finally we just agreed that things had gotten all weird for no reason..and went out somewhere to do something (i cant remember where we went), and it was nice I believe i start my photo job today, or at least get my schedule. sweet. im excited. by the way...i need to do a project involving potraits. Detroit. Kristin and i drove to Detroit today to take random pictures. found an old abandoned house, walked non chalantly into st. andrews w/o questioning, strolled by the river, and passed a nice old lady who said "hi dearies" to us; she was adorable... but the best part of today, is the message i just got on my answering machine... I got the photo job at school. score. i start monday i think. eeeeeeeee i'm happy about this. and leeska...panera training..what? he he, you'll get to pay homage to a sourdough roll. you should be thouroughly excited... |

Saturday-made tshirts, and cd's. scavenger hunt. good times. accept for me spilling crap in our bag. but, conclusion: Jill(  ajabenton) rules.Sunday night-watched mummy returns, horrid. we watched in in fast forward, and it still took to long to get through. Monday-had the best/easiest test to take in the world in sociology. group test/open notes/open study guide. got taught to play Magic (yes the gathering) hahahaha, someday i will acquire the mad skillz to be the Magic master...haha im a dork... Brotherhood of the Wolf, good cinemetography, although they could have cut at least 45 min off the film and made it much better... i wish i didnt have to go to english now... *kristin* what exactly do you want on your cd? like what kind of stuff? or just randomness? |

yesterday/good. Went to classes, everything went well/was let out of english an hour early. So i sat in the cafetorium till my next class. This boy came and sat near me, and sat a simpsons lunch box on the table, complete with hot choclate in the matching thermos, and a wrapped sandwhich, cut in wedges. It was so cute. Film was good. Kellie ANNND Leeska came to my session. Hitchcock Notorious. we went out after; got lunch, and rented Ghost World which, besides having a somewhat hanging ending...i really enjoyed. we also determined that livejournal is quite a creepy thing. I told them a storyweb, of crazy connections, that in all actuality are just plain weird. and now it is time to do a drawing for my class today. go me, on doing that last minute homework... |

yesterday i was in the darkroom for about 5 hours. I ran into Kristen there, which was cool. I also kind of met a cute guy, although being the nerd that i am, forgot to get his name...but, he was shy, i was shy, that's how it goes... I wish i had had something to do last night but alas, i did not. For one thing i never feel motivated to do anything anymore because work always has me frickin' open every weekend day. You know it's really shotty of them, first of all my availibility for saturday as i wrote it down was 11-4 saturdays and 8-3 sundays, so for the past month or so i've been scheduled 7-4 saturdays, and 8-5 sundays....what the heck!?!?! first of all, did i ever say i wanted like 18 hours a weekend!? NO! sorry i actually would like to be able to enjoy a small part of my weekend...argh I need some motivation...someone has to make me go somewhere tonight, no matter how tired i might be... i want to crawl back into bed badly right now... I have however made plans to see my best friend at the end of the month!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Christina is going to come over the 28th-2nd maybe even the 3rd! weehaw! it will be good times for sure.... i guess i should continue getting ready for work ...Ugh... |
