That ice dancing was one of the most painful things that I have seen in ages.
So close. |

I want to kick the shit out of my printer. I should have bought a new one a few weeks ago when I had the idea. I loved my printer when it was new but its dying on me now.
And would someone please tell me why Ice Dancing is an Olympic sport? I mean its pretty to look at, but subjective as hell. |
7:17 pm |
My stomach must have shrunk in the past month or two. I used to be able to eat a whole meal and now I think it would make me puke. |

But it does make me happy that so many other people's lives are going well. I hope you all enjoy it to the fullest. |

Between marking papers and working, this is the first time I've been online since Sunday. As soon as my laundry is done I'm going to bed. |

9:03 pm |
I'm getting the month of July off. The first week I will be spending doing wedding related things. Then I hope to take two weeks and travel to the UK. I've never been before. This is what will get me through the next 3 hellish months at work. |
8:13 pm |
Way too fucking tired from my too early start (for a Saturday at least). So I spent most of the day trying to get some more sleep and failing miserably. Which means no papers marked by me. So there goes my entire Sunday, and probably Monday and Tuesday nights after work too. I just don't want to mark people's papers when I'm too tired and then carelessly fuck them over when I overlook something. I would rather mark when I'm alert. |

Horoscope: Romance is imminent, so stop telling yourself you're not ready.
Hmm. I'll have to think about this one. |

Finally. I'm all set and know where I'm going to go tomorrow. My weekend finally took a turn for the better a couple of hours before bed. |

Between 12 hour work days, working on the weekends (have to go in next Saturday and probably periodically after that), and taking on this marking assignment, I'm going to be a very busy girl. |

9:24 pm |
My horoscope: People look more attractive to one another, so if you are lonely, just get out and mingle.
I would love to get out and mingle if I had a couple of people to go out and mingle with. Everyone is always so busy. Sigh. That's what I get for having most of my friends either working in the same profession or living too far away. I miss people. |
12:16 am |
I'm so tired now, but if I go to bed now, I know I will spend the entire night dreaming about work. Which will keep waking me up. I need to go out and catch a movie or something this weekend just to get my mind going on a different wavelength.
Is it May yet? |
12:05 am |
Ack. 14 hour workdays without so much as stopping for 10 minutes to eat are not for me. |

My head felt quite a bit better today. It only started to ache at around five, when I only had an hour left to go at work. I hope this is a sign of things to come, because it is unbelievably hard to concentrate at work with the tight, pulling feeling in my forehead. I know I will get a bad review for this assignment, but there doesn't seem to be much that I can do about that. Oh well...I'm pretty much guaranteed the promotion. Everyone at my level gets it so I'm not too concerned. I just won't get the big raise that they always give to a couple of people. Not that I was so great that I would have got it anyway. Sometimes I think that I get more than my fair share of difficult assignments. Not to say that other people don't get hell jobs, but I think I get more than the average. I also seem to be fully booked up until the time of promotions. I don't know. Sometimes I wish I had all of my intern months in so I could run as fast as I could away from this hell job. I wouldn't even mind the hours if I truly enjoyed my job, but I always seem to run into so many of the long hours jobs in stressful situations. It just isn't for me. Everyone is always telling me about how much money I could make if I stay in this job for about five more years before moving on, but I don't think I could stand it.
I need a change. Something good in my life. Something (someone) to look forward to. |

Oops...hit post too quickly.
Happy birthday Shell :) |
8:30 pm |
Thanks to everyone for being so sweet to me after my accident. Fortunately, I didn't hurt my back or neck, so its just the head wound. It still hurts where I have my stitches...well...maybe hurt is the wrong word. It feels strange, kind of tight on my forehead...but then again I did get some swelling on my forehead from the impact but it seems to be going down. I guess I'll just have to wait a few more days and see what happens. |
