Bio:	Oh goody...biocrap. Well okay, I'm a thirty year old single woman living in the city of my birth, Philadelphia, PA. "Mayahuel" is the Aztec goddess of the agave cactus, from which we get tequila but which also produces fibers important in making cloth. This year, I'm incorporating all of my projects, both professional and humanitarian, under the wide wings of Ascendant Virago Enterprises (three guesses who she is). In addition to my (more and more happening) life as a writer, I am active in Mellifluidity (a Dianic witchcraft group), the Liberty Pagan Alliance, Philadelphia PhantomQuest, and with a nameless group (though we call ourselves the Templo Mayor, because that's where we gather) celebrating Brujeria (Aztec Theater is on the docket for 2002). I'm also the brainchild behind the Vampire Follies, which is basically the performing arts as portrayed by vampires. To date we've done "I'm Sorry, The Bridge Is Out, You'll Have To Spend The Night" and the "Vampires' Nutcracker". Now we're doing an original comedy, "So, Is Your Husband The Jealous Type?"--it's great fun and it's all for charity. And I cannot forget Felipe Guevara, my passion from Sonora, Mexico--sure, a long distance love affair can be tough, but he's able to fly in often enough to keep me sated. Most of all, though, I love being of service to my fellow human beings--if I have a heritage, that would be it.
