9:17 pm - Name Change
|
Akeldama will cease to be my LJ name. however, Brad's decided to charge for the service of changing LJ names, cuz it's a pain in the ass, so i'm jury-rigging my own way. For new entries, drop by lo_spettro. I'll be moving over my friends soon, so anyone who has me listed will start seeing the new name and stop seeing this one.

11:35 pm - Insect
|
a small insect is investigating my computer monitor. it enjoys the post-it note stuck to the top of it, and frequently noses my cursor.
it never tires in its escapades from one corner to the other, it bounces off the side and careens the opposite direction.
turns on a dime, flips into the air, lands back on its feet and continues its exploration.
what will happen when i turn the monitor off?

10:57 pm - hot damn.
|
so i'm tutoring NP three times a week, an hour each, and i'm starting 45 minutes with DP (not related) tomorrow. NP is doing basic maththird grade level, we played with fractions todayhe's trying to pass the test to see if he can go to fifth grade math next year instead of being bored in fourth grade math. DP had no problem with pre-algebra, but dropped like a rock in algebra, so he's looking for some catch-up. he's gunna be a freshman. plus a 32-hour legal work week at 7$/hr. hey, i'm not complaining.
yesterday didn't suck. i tutored until 3:30, and jim dropped by at 5:30... we munched at his house, discovered Virya couldn't attend, so we crashed at the pool place for a couple hours. i got 11$ off him in bets (heh heh heh), but seeing how the pool place was slightly more than expected (22$ total instead of 5$ each) and we munched some more afterwards, we were both pretty broke when he dropped me off.
and when he pulled up to drop me off, there was a fox hanging out in the driveway. damn cool.
man, work was a bitch today. we got the first of three gigantic shipments ineight boxes my size, weighing from 100 to 160 pounds each, full of instruments, in the tiny doors and storage spaces downstairs in the quaint lil shop in downtown House of God, Connecticut. yeah freakin right.
the C-4 MP3 player for computerz is excellent... i just made an awesome playlist, complete with Subi, Velvet Acid Christ, Crystal Method, Schism, Aphex Twin, DAT Politics, Amino Acid and Asian Dub Foundation. yeah.
so Jim dropped by to drive me to the senior picture appointments, he slept in and figured what the hell as long as he was going there he might as well get me too (i live right by the schools). maybe he's stalking me. :o)
and ashley and sarah> and maggie were there doin all the paperwork and here's your fake tux stuff, but since they had a grand total of 3$ for lunch for the 3 of them, i gave them some moolah. i mentioned that jim an i went poolin last nite, and sarah said i should come over an teach her how to play pool cuz her parents just got a table and she sucks at it. but A) i only know one game, and B) i have like no time. well, not really. whatever.
so, now on my playlist of electric doom is trent reznor's remix of his own song, but he called it the aphex twin remix. which is kind of a fitting title, it sounds like the guy from aphex twin was thrown into a large industrial factory machine. hey, that's NIN for you! yay!
yay i'm done with new coding for my web site... well, not done, but it's passable until i'm very bored again and feel like busting out yet another set of onMouseOver and onMouseOut commands to complete the ensemble. and for those of you who couldn't read French, the titles are now in Latin. :o) (hey, be grateful, i was about to put them in Zulu...)
i decided i'm writing a sequel to Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" and calling it "Heroin" or "PCP" or something. and hey, does anyone know if Clapton's the original author of that? and if so, who else covered it? any good electronica or industrial versions?
god, i looooove Asian Dub Foundation. indescribable congolmeration of styles...breakbeat, rapcore, scratch, electronica, industrial, thrashmetal, with bumpin' club electronica beats! niiiice shit.
hey, i got paid today. cool.
whoa. talk about a haphazard entry. oh well.

12:24 am - Happy Jerks' Day
|
well, at least my jerk. oh well.
good to stay up until 3, play on the roof in the rain, and wake up the same day at 12:55. and there were lil mini blueberry muffins to munch on, and i made myself coffee. and my dad's not online now so i can be.
grr, my sister wants to get online. oh well, i need a shower anyways... there's no soap in rain. (good thing!)
shower, shopping with mom/sister to get loot for fathers day... an amusing card, a mounds bar, and new decks for uno and skip-bo, and i owe my mom 11$.
dad and i put together my grandfather's desk and after an hour of discourse with my mother, found a place to put it in the study. now we have four computers, five desks.
walking by my sister watching Ginger something on Nick (?), i'm reminded how glad i am to be outta middle school.
downloading some Subi mp3's. a review said he resembles Prodigy; good enough for me.
dinner, presents, dessert. the parents will watch a movie, the sister's going to bed. i'm supposed to go to bed earlier tonight, guess the 3:00 thing didnt appeal to the parents.
man, you just can't beat orchestral electronica. (no, not like ELO, that's orchestral rock.) Aphex Twin, silly. this boy oscillates between modem porno soundtracks and orchestral techno, and he's got both styles wrapped around his pinky nail.
jim has invited me to play pool tomorrow night. talk about college, he says. i'm pretty sure he considers me the only guy worth talking to about intelligent stuff. which isn't really a bad thing, since he's a pretty good guy if you understand him. which i do. many people think jim's an asshole, and i guess they're right. he's very cynical and sarcastic, which is a dangerous mix in a person who's extremely smart and good at what he does. he dislikes society as much as i do, and i think he'd make a good goth if he didnt listen to ska. but i understandMr Empathy Man Strikes Again, i can usually understand where anyone's coming from. and because we have that much in common and i understand him, we can get along.

11:52 pm - how much this sucks
|
i hate this... i'm so hopelessly typical-teenagery in love with a girl who lives in the next state and is in college six hours away.
she's the nicest, most empathetic person i've ever met. she is always there for anyone. she's gotten over her problems...she used to cut, like me, but she saw herself out of it.
i could go on and on, but i wont.
i will say that i'm kind of glad that we'll never be together, i dont want to bring her down with me.

there's a grand total of three people online. i know i will never fall asleep should i go to bed, so what's the point? i just have to get enough sleep that i'm awake and able to think math at 2 this afternoon.

10:05 pm - i dislike summer
|
yuck. hot an sticky. the weather, that is, not me.
i have two latches from a saxomaphone case, and i'ma try to think of what i should put them on. a while back we got a kid in at BMC whose sax case's handle broke off, so we gave him a new one. we got the case and i stole the broken-off handle (it's cool), and today i decided i'm taking the handle-less case to put stuff in and the latches are comink off to do with as i please. if you have any suggestions as to what i should do with these bad boys, leave me a note!
well i kicked ass at poker; candice didnt call me last night and didnt come to lunch today. she did however call me at 2ish (i think, i don' remember) at work to say that she was real sorry she didnt come, she just woke up. apparently her and whoever she's hanging out with this week went up to the resevoir and got nice and drunk.
hey, i'll turn 17 in a month. yay for me, or something.
the problem with BearShare is there's not much selection. :o( there's almost no Asian Dub Foundation and there's no Schism or DAT Politics at all. yay, i found some Mr Oizo! i'ma download some of the songs that arent on Analog Worms Attack.
boo hoo. terry hasnt emailed me yet. :o(
oh, yeah. i decided on what i think i'll change my name to when i'm 18Alastar MacCoinn. Alastar is the Gælick equivalent of Alexander and MacCoinn is what my surname was eventually Americanized into; it means Son of Consul.
well, i've a new email address, so i had to change a billion email addresses on my web sites cuz on every one i have "©2001 xxRurik7xx@juno.com" and now i hafta change 'em all to netzero.com. arrr.
damn, i hate being such a loner. this summer i'ma have nothing at all to do except work and tutor and stuff like that, but i have no friends to go out and do things with. such a whiny teenager i am, no? maybe i'll get my lazy ass around to learning some Setswana (second largest language in Botswana) or Manks orGeorge forbidfinishing Czech. and hey, i could even play some guitar which i havent done in almost literally forever.
well in my quest to get some filing done at work, i happened upon a stack (and i mean stack) of papers that was stapled together, it was a rental contract for a place downtown that we were considering moving into (we're not anymore, just gonna build some additionz). anyways i was flipping through it and there were so many of them, i decided to make a list of Weird Multiple-Word Words: nevertheless notwithstanding hereinstated forthwith hereof herein thereof hereby hereto hereinafter
yeah. i know i'm weird, shut up.
ooh ooh ooh, i havent told you about Uncle Fester! last year, there happened upon our polygon of freakish friends a freshman known as Aaron Premo, frequently referred to as Poor Bitch or PB. this boy was one of these chubby redhaired insecure wish-he-was-popular kids, you know what im talking about...hence his name, Poor Bitch. context runs like this: "Here Poor Bitch, throw away my trash." "Okay." "Poor Bitch, go buy me a cookie." "Okay." you get the idea. anyway, he happened to first meet our polygon of freakishness one fateful day when Kristin and I were decidedly gothed out. i was a so-pho-more; her, junior. so he got a good look at Kristin and I and decided the really cool people were goths. from that day on, he wore black and did his damndest to be goth (a member of the dreaded prep pseudogoth category...shudder), dressed in the same black shirt several times a week, etc, blah blah blah. and so it got worse and worse, and kristin and i realixed we'd created a monster, and we jumped out while we could. now, he's gone down the completely wrong path. he used to wear a bondage leather bracelet on one wrist and a band of spikes on the other. he has a pair of Ozzy-esque boots that he wears every day. he thinks Goth and Freak is all about antagonism, hatred, and steel. yesterday, the last day of school... Hey Alex, Did You Hear About Poor Bitch? no, what? He Got Sent Home. He Came To School Dressed In Drag! no way!! you're shitting me! damn, i corrupted him good! i'm proud'a him. apparently he attended school in a long black dress and was told to get his ass home and change. he even had his "Agenda Book" (superficial betterment ploy of the high school; it is a booklet containing all the school rules, passes, a huge calendar, blah blah blah) and challenged anyone to find him a rule saying he couldn't dress in drag. nevertheless (ahh!!) they sent him home. i say he shoulda came back in a bikini, and given the school something to worry about. at least before he was only embarrassing himself. asshole school administration, i was considering skipping a class and having a talk with the principal. too bad it doesnt matter anymore.
ah, i know something i shall do this summer, catch up on my Monty Python. i have the entire Flying Circus on DVD, bu i've only seen like the first fifteen episodes! not good. i wish my parents werent home. its too hot to wear a shirt, but its not worth risking it with my multitude of scars and a mildly metally nipple. oh well, i'll deal.
how strange, it feels so late but it's only 9:45! musta been a long day for me. i need something to amuse me.

well, candice updated in her Open Diary, for the first time in what a month anna half? dare i say even two months?
she asked the anonymous internet readers of her diary for relationship advice, she has an issue. Derek, Seth, or Ryan? she mentioned that this is why she likes me, because i'm good at stuff like that. however, should she ever ask me, she's getting stonewalled. i will not talk with her about her love life anymore, i refuse to. "Do whatever you want," i shall say. it's exactly what she's done in the past, why should it change now?
derek, she says... theyve been together for 8 months, but he makes her feel like shit a lot. what to do when you're in love, she says? i think she's being stupid.
seth, she says... reminds her a lot of me, and i bet i'll end up being very close to him in five years. tall, very long hair, pale, black trenchcoat. likes RPGs (i dont), doesnt like animals (i do). amusing and smart.
ryan, she says... cute, smart, funny, blah blah blah, all that crap. on and on and on, i forget what the bad points about him were. he's the one i havent met yet, and i'd love not to.
on a related note, candice once told me how much derek wanted to hang out with me. again, alex practiced his wicked stonewalling skillz. i limit myself to a ten-foot radius of him, it could be quite dangerous if i lose control of myself. i think you know what i mean.
and its not really that i hate derek, i just hate candice for what she did... and derek's my manifestation of that hate. (yes, i do know a lil psychology.) but hell, i dont give a shit. i'd rip him to shreds if i had the chance, even though all he wanted was some snatch. not his fault, i guess, he might not have even known what he was getting himself into.
oh well. sucks to be him. he should be glad that i never see him, and if he does enter my high school (as rumor had it), he should be very wary of his step.

whew. school sucked today, half-hours of all 8 classes... went to the first five, then just stayed in Pikul's room for an hour anna half with ash.and.sarah and for the last half hour actually went to my algebra class. the grades aren't that bad, actually, here are the year-end results... French 41: B- (raised from a 79.8, Mme B is awesome). Italian 22: A. AP US History: C+ (up from my first-quarter grade of a low D). English: C, smack-dab in the middle, a 75 (but i got an A on the final! yes!). Chem: i dno, he didnt give 'em to us. but thats okay. Study Hall: bite me. Photo: dunno, skipped it. College Algebra (a.k.a. Pre-Calc): B. all in all, good stuff. terry copied another Aphex Twin cd for me, damn he's awesome. and he's copying Physical Graffiti (Led Zep) for me too, i'ma copy him Fatboy Slim and Paul Oakenfold's essential selection and Prodigy's Experience. and he's cute too. today at class we were workin on valley kicks (damned hard) and aerials (no-hand cartwheels), and we were exhausted at the end. but t'was good.
letsee. after school, Maggie (acquaintance in school) gave me a ride to work, i didn feel like boarding the rolling yellow steel tube today... got there at like 12:30, worked for six-anna-half hours, then TKD.
umm... i did something else today. i know it.
oh yeah, candice dropped by at work. she wanted to sell us her old flute, but we dont really buy instruments off people any more. but it's not a bad flute, she should get a hundred sumthin for it if she pawns it like she said she was gunna, depending on how old it is. she brought in the sewer rat she refers to as a Dog for me to see, damn he's cute! he's a little Wookie Iwok Furry-Oompa-Loompa doggie, and he enjoys eating people's hands (well, licking them). unfortunately she has to get rid of him, she loves him to death but she cant really take care of him... he like lives nowhere, just like candice, they go home late at night and sleep in her room but she can't leave him at home because her stepmom has an issue with dogs and if he's alone he'd bark up a storm. so he basically lives as a nomad like candice, probably with most of their time spent in her disaster area of a car. and she's supposed to call me tonight, which she hasn't in the two hours after i said i'd be home. she's also supposed to meet me for lunch tomorrow, shall we place bets? i'm going Double or Nothing, ante's $50. poker faces, everyone.
damn, this aphex twin CD is kickin. shame that it wont work in my stereo, asshole RCA stereo. dont get anything by RCA, get panasonic or aiwa. good stuff.
arrrr, i dno about going to Cedric's school. i'd love to, but i know Steve'd rip a shit if he found out, and the martial arts community in Greater Danbury isn't exactly large... it wouldnt be hard for someone to mention in passing that i'm going to Cedric's now, not realixing that i'm still here too, or something. and while otherwise i wouldnt mind that much, i really need Steve for college recommendationsah, call me corrupt, i dont care. he's known me for six years and seen me advance from an orange belt to a third-degree black, that's a pretty good teacher-student relationship. better than any other teacher in school, hands down.
speaking of which, Harvard mailed me a big ole catalog including the admission form for Fall 2002. damn cool. my dad was saying he hasn't seen a college admission form in thirty years, since when he applied for Grad school.
well dumb alex forgot to bring the Final Word letter to school today, so i shall mail it to Mrs M c/o BHS tomorrow, perhaps.
and i got my schedule, which be's FUBAR. stupid school, not put me into any of the computer courses i want and instead put me into College Sociology. grr, ima have to have a word with 'em. and i really dont want to take AP Calc when i haven't had a whiff of any Trig. i mean, i just learned what Arctan meant, and i still don't understand any of it, because everyone in my Algebra class had already taken it and so she didnt explain any. grr...and the guy who teaches it next year i have major issues with, he reminds me waaaay too much of my father. grrrrr!
wowww, Mountain Dew has a new drink out. it's Mountain Dew Code Red, the same stuff but with cherry syrup and Red 5 coloring. funnnnn... they should call it Mountain Blood or something. and it's not bad, either, coming from the guy who doesnt really like soda except for hardcore sprite or good rootbeer. none of this crap A&W; shit, i want Hires or Barq's.
i did it! whaddya tink:
doesnt suck too much, does it? feel free to comment. i'm thinking five or six inches tall on my outer left calf.

;;sips Snapple Pink Lemonade;; listening to Led Zep's Re-masters. excellent CD, those of you without need to go get it. anyways... the sister is having a No More School For A Month party tomorrowthe last day of school, go figure. oh boy, glad i have to work.
YES FINALS ARE OVER one more day of school, four more hours of sitting in that building labelled Hell, then freedom for a month to forget everything i've learned...
well i have my room almost done being raved up... two strobe lights on different speeds, a laser light, my thumpin stereo, and trippyass decorations make my room the coolest rave that isnt actually a rave.
no one's on. liz hadda go eat dinner... that's weird, it's 5, i'm used to eating dinner at 9, 930, 10, 1030...all hours.
so here's what im thinking... if i get to go to africa. there are like 40 people who want to go, he can only take 20... ;;nervous;; theres like four of us that i want to go together, otherwise it wouldnt be as fun. i hope i hope i hope a bunch of the current seniors drop out of it or people cant "buck up" (as Jan the Man sez) so they drop outta the race... so if we all get to to go and have a shitkickin time and love it and whatnot, i'm thinkin i wanna get a tattoo, silhouette of africa done in fading rasta colors... black to red to gold to green to black. t'would look extremely cool. but this depends on lots of stuff, first of all i dno how much the other people in the 4-some like tattoos... i do and sarah does, i dno bout ash or jarrod. sarah an i will turn 18 there, jarrod will already be 18, but ash's birthday's in the fall i think. hmm. heh. i feel so planning-the-future-before-it-happens lil-teenage-girl-ish. oh well, screw it.
well the parents are seriously considering traisping around in europe for 3 weeks in july, and bringing the sister and i. which wouldnt be bad, except the parents will be there. oh well, at least i get outta the house.
micky hasnt been online recently... :o( its good for me to talk to her, brings me back to reality. im never so depressed after a conversation with her, which is very good for me. my computer's being stupid. if i push the tab button it switches programs, and it was resizing HTML text with the rollybar thingy in my mouse instead of scrolling. weird.
i feel like i should be doing homework. ;;laugh;; yeah, right.
hey, cool! i'm looking at the site of the TKD school i wanna start going to, it's ccltaekwondo.bizland.com... and in the Tournament section, there are picture of the tournament we were at and you can see me in a couple! if youre bored check out the site, you can see me in the background 3rd, 4th and 5th pictures on the Tournament Result page, under the UTTC Team Sparring section. i'm in all white (gasp!) except for my belt, and my hair's a big black triangle. the third and fourth pictures i'm standing outside the ring, on the left of the picture, with my legs apart and my hands behind my back, the fifth i'm walking around the ring and the picture caught me in mid-step, i'm still looking at the ring but my right leg's forward and all...on the right side of the picture. cool. if someone was home i'd drive over to the school and see when classes are, cuz i wanna start going there. it's a real school as opposed to steve's business, grumble. But The Site's So Unprofessional, you say. Such Low-Quality Pictures, And Not Even A Real Domain Name. well yes, that's what makes it a real school. there's a furnace in between the American and Korean flags... steve's school doesnt even display the American and Korean flags anymore, which every dojang should do.
well, that's it for today i think...

4:47 pm - The Last Word...?
|
Alex [] 14 June 2001 Dear Mrs. M: I appreciate your response and I’d like to clear some things up. I do not wish to be on the yearbook staff per se—I believe it would be easy and effective if I were to look over the yearbook before it’s sent to the printers, to see if I could point out any oversights. The signatures at the end of my note were included as references, in case you wanted to investigate my claims. As for members of this year’s staff being taunted in class, I look down upon this as much as you do. I do not endorse that behavior and I did not influence the person in question to act in that manner. Being a graphic and web site designer, I fully realize that an unbelievable amount of work went into producing the yearbook and I did not mean to belittle those who worked so hard on it. I also recognize that computers can be uncooperative; using a computer since the age of four and having designed web sites since fifth grade has taught me that what you want is not always what you get. Needless to say, everyone makes errors and I know I am not exempt. I do understand that some errors are beyond your control, such as [AA]’s write-up—but I believe you’ll find that I said the text was “cut off by [the] printer.” I included this in an attempt to make my list non-specific to one group of people. Name misspellings are perhaps the hardest to find when it is not your name that’s misspelled; the ones I included are of seniors whose names have been checked and appear correct in the senior’s part of the yearbook, or of people I know personally. Unfortunately, name misspellings are perhaps the kind of error that upsets readers the most; perhaps there could be an editor whose sole job it is to check names? I trust next year’s staff will do an excellent job as well, but if you need an extra pair of eyes to check over any text, please keep me in mind. I’d love to meet with you and go over my findings, should you find the time or desire to do so. I can be contacted at [***-****] after seven o’clock during the summer, or via e-mail at MalarkyX@aol.com. Thank you again, [signed,] Alex Quine P.S.: I will look into your recommendation.
note that my letter includes a header and a salutation, will be indented (as opposed to hers) and boasts the correct abbreviation of a post script. i will be checking back periodically in case anyone has any comments.

4:20 pm - Response
|
This is, verbatim, the response from Mrs M (the yearbook advisor).
Dear Alex,
Thank you for all the time you took to find our "mistakes." You obviously have more time on your hands than I do.
Some of the "mistakes" are not really "mistakes." When working with computer software there are sometimes glitches that don't allow you to do what you want. Sometimes computer memory does not allow you to see on the screen what is actually there. It was a surprise to us in at least three cases where what we sent in to the plant was not what was returned. One of the things that I dislike most is the misspelling of names. There is no reason for this to happen, but it happens. I apologize to anyone whose name was not spelled right. As far as Andrew Ackermann's )with 2 ns, not 1 as you typed it) write upDo you really think we would make a mistake like that, especially that he was on the yearbook staff and saw what we were submitting? Do you think that I would let that happen to anyone's write up? That was a plant error and they have acknowledged it. They have also acknowledged mistakes in made the advertising section at the back of the book which we asked them to fix and they did not.
Some of your findings are legitimate and some are unfounded. For example--the picture of Officer Bruckenthal rather than Officer Bennett. She was not here when the faculty pictures were taken. That deadline had already passed. That is why we included a candid of her and hom at the bottom of one of the pages. He was passing the baton to her.
I don't have the time or the desire to go over with you all the points that you so thoughtfully brought to our attention. Alex, there is a right way to get your point across and then there's a wrong way. Frankly, my staff is quite offended that you picked their work apart as you did. Couldn't you have come to me privately and sat with me showing me some of the things that you found that you think are wrong? You have no idea how much work and time this took. Of course we know that no matter how hard we try and no matter how many people look over something, that there will be mistakes. Even our publishing company representative acknowledges this.
I won't need to contact any of the students who signed your letter to check on your skills. If they signed the letter hoping that you'll become part of the yearbook staff, that's not how it works. Students must apply and be recommended by school staff. The new staff should be quite capable of doing a good job, and I look forward to working with them. As good as they are, however, I know there will be "mistakes" again next year. At this point in time I don't think I will be needing any more staff members for next year, but thanks for your offer. Probably the yearbook advisor (adviser) at Brien McMahon will need some help.
[signed,] Mrs. M
P.S. Please forgive me if I've made any mistakes in this message. You don't need to conrrect it and give it back to me. I look forward to your letter next June.

yesterday i gave her my compiled list of yearbook errors with a letter of sorts introducing it. i received this in homeroom today.
i know that she's sore because a (?) member of her staff was being teased in one class because of the errors in the yearbook. granted, this is not my faulti didnt ask anyone to taunt the staff, you know?
umm, letsee, what else... i'm writing a response, because i always have to have the last word and some items need clearing up. i shall post my draft for input once i complete it, but it has to be done tonight since tomorrow's the last day of school and thus my last chance to sneak it in her mailbox.

yes, another entry. i found my awesome hackysack. yaay! we went to chilis for dinner...yay. four seniors sat down at the table next to us, which was interesting for a reason i know not. the parents argued about the trip to europe next month, and i played devil's advocate (quite well, i must say) when they were picking on the waiter cuz it was prolly his first week... but he was cute. and he didn't write down anything of our order and got everything rightrare, for chilisand he brought drink refills quickly, and the only complaint the parents had was the appetixers were too long in coming, but that would be the chef's fault not his. after ranting all this there was a wonderful moment of silence and my mom said "Good point, alex." but the fajita quesadillas were good. so i'm not complaining. DA: i need to look up exactly how you spell Ra-Horakhty, cuz i'm guessing on that one. remind me sometime and ill look it up. dharmic: i second your motion on both counts. okay, so i have NetZero now and it's a lot better. thank feckin god. this is why i dont like wearing jeans and never do anymore...restriction of movement. sitting is no longer confortable. nothing like some raver pants to let you move around, that's what they're for after all. :o) i want school to be over. i want money so i can pay off my deductible and get a cell phone. i want to go to africa now, not in a year. i want to move to seattle. i want my parents to leave me the hell alone. i want someone to be with.

i have an account on opendiary but it's fairly well known... donc, j'ai decidé d'utiliser this livejournal as the place where i shall write everything that i can't write in OD. there, LJ, you feel special? you damn well should. the only one who might read this is lex, and she can know anything. because she's lex. so there. i will also include normal postings, so my myriad (cough) of normal readers wont feel left out.
anyways. should you desire to be bored with my nonexistent love life...clicky.
and to bonvogue: you're absolutely right. being a male teenager, life generally sucks after having lost who you thought was the love of your life because she had sex with someone you used to know three times and never told you about it. seeing other couples and unconsciously remembering what i used to have kills me, and there really is nothing to do aboot it. it's a completely non-buddhist way of looking at life, and i realixe that. but i believe that a healthy buddhist outlook is nearly impossible in a teenager's life, and for the moment i am incorporating as much Zen knowledge as i can into my life. once my life settles out, becomes more "normal" i believe i will find life much easier and the buddhist mindset easier to attain.

candice called me today. its the first time ive heard her in like two or three weeks. she's still looking for a job, which doesnt surprise me. apparently somewhere along the line she picked up a lil puppy, like 8 weeks old, but she cant take care of it so shes trying to sell it. apparently her an seth are going down to baltimore for an RPG gathering for like 3 days, she said it sounds boring as hell to her but it's a way to get outta the state so she's going.
yay chemistry final... have to write the stuff i dont know on this piece of paper because Pikul's letting us use a page of notes on his final, yay... but that means i have to find everything that i dont know. hmm. speaking of school, i discovered there's a lot of people in the school that think i hate them. now, dont get me wrong, i dont really care about many people in the high school, but the only person i really hate is Mariah Carey.
ooh, lewis dot diagrams. whoopdee fuckin doo. ;;twirls finger;;
its decided, i like Alice in Chains. liz' dad let me borrow his tape of Jar of Flies and its really good stuff, kinda like...um...Our Lady Peace mixed with old-school Creed (back when they were good, when they only had one CD out). i need to find some bass tabs and download some MP3s, cuz all i have is a tape and that feels so...non-technological. i dont think i own a tape player save for the two heads on my stereo.
well i put twenty-to-one odds on candice not calling me back tonight like she said she would, and looks like i win. yay for me.
stupid audiogalaxy, i can't get it to work. hey anyone out there who uses audiogalaxy, tell me why mine doesnt work!!!!
strange...at the time Timothy McVeigh was dying from a combination of sodium thiopental, pancuronium bromide, and potassium chloride, i was reading his written statement during the history "final." ;;shudder;;
