What is going on????? Good morning North America. I am just sittin here in my lazy boy after a nice long sleep. I thought that it has been a while since I posted so I thought that I would blow off some steam and vent some of the thoughts that I have. Not too many people really read this thing anyway but it is still some kinda psycho-relief for me. Lately I have been a bit frustrated with the going ons of our Country. You would think that after the wake up call that we had recently that people would stop bitchin and try to make our country a strong undivided nation. This worked for a bit but then the ACLU had to get back in their normal swing of messing things up. Some of you might be to young to remember but back when we said the pledge and had prayer in school there were no school shootings and back when there was no thoughts of taking guns away from from people there were less crimes involving them. Now the Left wing liberals want to reconstruct our amendments and constitution to meet their agenda. Can't we all just get along???
Ok, I am done with my political bitching ( I think ). I have met some neat people on here recently, but there are some things that have happened recently that i am still a little confused about. I Billiam really dead? I had been enjoying his journal for a while and the it stopped for a week and some other guy takes it over saying that all messages should be posted in memory of Billiam. What happened. As for Kim and Aimee, thanks for being too lazy to live up to your end of the bargain. It was pretty simple, I like to write erotic stories for people and all I ask in return is to be able to post them here and for them to write me a story in return. Even a short story would have been nice, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO. It amazes me how people keep saying that they are soooo busy. though in 2-3 months they cant find the time to even sit down and type out a 10 to 20 minute story. I feel taken advantage of !!!!! Oh well, thats what I get I guess, for believing that the youth of america are trustworthy. I guess I will just have to go out and look for new friends on here. Maybe someone will read this and say hi?
I am off today, I work a pretty cool schedule, I am at work for 24 hours and off for the next 2 days. I am paid well and have a nice house and a decent lot. I have been giving some thought to expanding my house and garage this summer, along with adding a new front poarch. I will ad a 2 car garage on to the front of the existing garage and turn the back part into a woodworking shop, game room, and studio for my d.j. equip. it is already heated with a fridge and tv, dart boards and a bunch of beer sings and pictures I have collected along the way.
That is all for now, maybe I will talk more soon. | Wednesday, December 26th, 2001 | 9:26 pm |
Christmas was great this year, finally we got some snow on the ground. We have enough snow to cover the ground but it is still less than an inch, which is the most that we have had so far this winter. I worked Christmas day, the city was quiet, thank goodness. Christmas eve the family got together and had dinner and opened gifts, I deep fried a turkey which turned out awesome. Got a garbage disposal and put it in today, I only got shocked twice, it works GREAT. Tomorrows project is putting lights above the mirror in the bathroom. I have met some new friends on here recently, Thanks to all that actually read my stories and journals. | Sunday, December 16th, 2001 | 6:00 pm |
Average? These test are a JOKE....
Take the Corporate Mascot Test at Willaston's Lounge!Oh, I am far from average. It is kinda funny in a way though, cause I am an original, who is zany and witty. I have made a few new friends recently who would like mw to write some stories for them. I just hope they write back with the info that I need to finish these stories. I have found a new love in writing personal stories, I hope that I am able to find more people that would like me to write for them. I would also love to trade stories with people, so drop me a line if you are interested. | Saturday, December 15th, 2001 | 10:39 am |
Tests....
Which Rocky character are you?I took this test, but don't agree with the results, Oh well it's kinda funny anyway. I was looking back at my entries before Sep. 11th, I find it a bit interesting that my thoughts back then are the same thoughts that are being circulated around the country now. It took a event of such fortitude for people to realize that the flag, God, and security are important. I just hope that the spirit of our country continues and that we don't get back to the slothful way that we were. God Bless the souls and families of my fire fighting brothers and sisters. I'm Back... Wow, it has been quite a while since my last journal, but nobody but myself is reading them anyway. I just spent a couple of days in FL. It was a nice trip and I was fed quite well I wish that it was all pleasure but we were there on Department business. Things here are started to getting colder finally, we had quite a wind and rain storm yesterday, I am looking forward to the snow. I am listening and watching the U2 free concert on Directv, I really have grown to like U2 a lot in the last few years. I love to drive to their music. I have some exciting news, a old flame and friend of mine wrote me last week, it was a pretty exciting letter and it made me think of the past and the fun that we used to have together. If she would have realized her feelings for me back when we dated I think that I would be with her right now. Instead she denied her feelings or was to young to realize what she had her hands on, unfortunately all she can do now is hope. I hope that she stays in touch. I have recently got back into writing stories, I posted one one yesterday and received a few comments on it. I like writing stories for people, so I hope that some of the members here will see my work and let me write for them. I also enjoy reading all the stories, I hope that I can find a few people to trade stories with me.

Another Day... Happy Tuesday, to all. I had to go to the hospital yesterday to get a MRI on my right knee. I injured it last week when we were loading the Dive rescue truck at the Fire dept. I am watching Fox news, and they are talking about the NEA and standardized testing in schools. Personally I feel that the NEA is a joke, they are a liberal institution that has only one goal, their agenda, not the proper education of america. I feel that there needs to be accountability of the teachers, and that is what the NEA is afraid of, because some of those bozos teaching our children are going to be without a job. Is it no wonder that there is such a rise of enrollment in private schools and children being home schooled. That is why we plan to home school our children. That way they are taught the true history of our country and what it means to be a proud American and Christian. Ok, I am done for today. | Wednesday, July 4th, 2001 | 11:55 am |
Independants Day Bliss.... Well Happy Fourth to anyone that might be bored enough to read this. It is a overcast day up he in OH. I woke this morning around 10:00 to find it raining a bit but not too hot like last year.
Sorry about not posting yesterday, it was a very busy day. As some of you may know I am a firefighter/Paramedic, I work 24 hours on duty then I am off for 48 hours (2 days). I actually do like the schedule, it makes it easy to be able to plan things in the upcoming years. When I am off duty I carry a pager and sometimes get paged to go in on overtime, if I choose too. Yesterday was on of those days. About 11:00 the page came in for the divers to respond to a nearby state park, where a 33 year old man had been reported missing from the night before. I am a rescue diver, and have been for close to 8 years now. When we got there we loaded up our equipment in boats and were take to the other side of the lake where this guys boat was found run ashore. Cadaver dogs had been brought in from Columbus and had picked up on the scent of body oils in a few places on the lake, these spots were marked with floats. We got suited up in Dry suits with full face masks that have a communications system in them. Being able to talk to your back up diver and someone on the surface of the water makes you feel a little more comfortable with the situation of searching for a body and not knowing what or when you will find it. Unfortunately after a couple hours of searching, we were unsuccessful. Though other teams stayed to search we were given a time limit on the hours that we could search. Since this was a recovery and not a actual emergency rescue, we had to keep in mind our priorities. While loading the equipment back into the truck I suffered a knee strain, causing me to take the day off of work today. I don't really mind though cause now we get to go watch the fireworks tonight.
Scott's Quote of the day... "The greatest asset of any nation is the spirit of its people, and the greatest danger that can menace any nation is breakdown of that spirit -- the will to win and the courage to work." George B. Courtelyou, former Secretary of the Treasury.
This to me, is another great reason why the pledge should be put back in the school. We are the greatest country in the free world. You are hear, if you don't want to pledge allegiance and be content with the rights that were given to us by the Founding Fathers of this nation,LEAVE. | Monday, July 2nd, 2001 | 8:53 am |
A New Day... Oh, what a beautiful morning. It is finally morning, after a long night at the station. We ended up with 4 calls from my station yesterday, three ems and one fire call that we go canceled on the way there. two were through the night so i am a bit tired today. I met a new friend on this site yesterday, she seems spunky and full of life. we exchanged e-mails and i look forward to getting to know her better and becoming pen-pals, so to speak. I find it a bit fun to talk to people that are full of youth and ready to take on the world, I just hope that I am able to help them a little bit with suggestions, comments or stories about myself and my experiences. This way they might have a better chance of being successful in their journey. I hope that my new friend writes back today, I look forward to sharing. I think that i am going to ad a quote of the day to my journals, maybe I will ponder on it a bit also. PLEASE feel free to ponder with me. Quote of the day. " What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing." Oscar Wilde Well here I go again; oh, that the world is so full of cynics. I find it difficult to swallow the true ignorance of some people. Example, I used to be a police officer. It mattered not to people how I did my job, just when i thought that I was doing the right thing, there was always someone there to say I was wrong. The cynic; The way that I have learned to look at things is this; I have a few businesses, if I take advise from my co-workers (the cynics) about my business (something that they know nothing about) then i will never get past their mentality and become successful, I will always be a firefighter. Don't pay attention to the cynic, he has no vested interest in your future or financial success. Have a great day Scott Current Mood: jubilantCurrent Music: John Coaltrain | Sunday, July 1st, 2001 | 1:24 pm |
Back at work, it has turned out to be a rainy day but at least the rain has cooled it down a bit. I don't have too much to say today, maybe later. | Saturday, June 30th, 2001 | 3:37 pm |
It is a warm day again today, I was a finalist in a harley davidson drawing today but did not make it past the first round. I did win a nice coffee mug and a 2 liter bottle of pop. I have been browsing a little around the site and found a couple of cool areas so far but I look forward to finding more, if anyone has any suggestions for me I would be thankful. | Friday, June 29th, 2001 | 11:00 am |
Well, this is my first entry. I just spent 30 minutes getting this all set up and now I have nothing to say. I doubt that anyone will take an interest in what I have to say but at least now I have a place to vent on occasion. I just got off working my usual 24 hour shift. We were fairly busy yesterday. There was a very serious carr accident involving a mini-van and a large dump truck. The driver of the mini-van was killed, it was very stressful for us because we did all we could to free her but we were not able to cut her out in time. Please let us pray for this family. |
