I know no one cares, BUT I'm going to be out of town until the fourteenth. I'm really going to start writing in here more. Really. I am.

Life is boring and exhausting. Well, yesterday was good, I zoomed around and played Peter Pan Putt Putt. But I didn't know my lines, I'm an awful person. I guess I'll have to learn them in Port Aransas. Icky.
Phoebe's tired or she would write more.

11:33 pm - Observations...
|
Hey everyone. I'm writing every night now, I've made it a promise to myself. This same entry is in both my diary AND journal, in case anyone reads both. Both have Tim, I'm happy. Very happy. I printed out his picture and put it in my purse. I know it's stupid, but it really makes me feel better. Really. Well, let's see. I wish something interesting was happening.
Oh! Mommy went and talked to the evil Brian Gaston and he backed off majorly. Which I'm extremely happy about. After rehearsal, Mommy and I went to Kirby Lane cafe and guess who we saw. That's right, the evil Brian Gaston. But Olga and Jonathan were both there too, so it was better. Tony creamed Morales in the debates. Yippe!

Yes it is. Quincy dropped out of Yankee Doodle and we open in a week. Yes, a week. And so we're training this new guy, Colin, to do Quincy's parts. Tonight, we trained Colin and he did really well. I hope he's ok. Port A for Spring Break!!!! Yahoo!!!! Let's see. What else? I've vowed never again to post anything related to online quizzes in here again. Period. I think that this will make the voting public happy.

sorry I haven't been updating. I've been working my ass off on this. I'm tired from rehearsal too. I'm scaring myself lately, I'm starting to get patriotic. I even considered buying something w/ USA on it today. New plan: convince parents trip to DC for worlds would be good grad gift.

This week has been floaty. And it's not over yet. And just because I love taking up space in people's friends pages, I decided to include this awesome pic of Timothy Goebel getting his long program scores with coach Frank Carroll.

12:06 am - Jerry
|
It was amazing, truly amazing. I cried, I sat on the front row and cried. I was bent over, smiling more than I ever have, and I cried. I saw Jerry Seinfeld. He was real. He was so real. He had cedar fever, but that only made him more real. I wanted to shout "I LOVE YOU, JERRY!" but only got the confidence to do so when the rest of the crowd was cheering. The truly awful part is that my dad fell asleep. Yes, fell asleep. Fell alseep while watching the funniest man of our time. I am SO embarressed. And he saw him, Jerry saw my dad sleeping. And he winced and turned away. I feel awful, but wonderful.
I saw Jerry Seinfeld.

I'm SO excited. In two hours, I will be sitting on the front row of the Bass Auditorium waiting for Jerry Seinfeld to take the stage. Wow. This is truly exciting. I have admired Jerry Seinfeld's comedic abilty for years now. And finally, yes finally, I will get to see him in person. Not just in person, but on the FRONT ROW. I don't think I could get much more excited than this.

9:42 pm - and i said BOO!
|
Hey world. What's up? I'm tired, but happy. I just saw A Beautiful Mind. Wow, it was really great. I totally understood what he was going through. Except with writing, not math. Ick. Math. Anthony Rapp was wonderful, truly wonderful. I love him so much. The only thing was, he didn't have a good part, definitely not enough to justify his name on the poster. Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled! Just disappointed.
I've come to an important decision. I'm going to marry either a man who plays a hobbit in LOTR or a male figure skater. I did have it expanded to simply gay guys, but some gay guys are really schmucks, so. Yes. Male figure skaters it is. If Timothy Goebel is reading this, I LOVE YOU! Though I doubt he is reading it. Alas, 'twill ne'er be.

Much better day today. Food Patry work, the stuff college applications are made of. No, really, I enjoy every minute of it. Then work, then Valentine's shopping, then rehearsal. All in all, it was a good day. But no men's figure skating today. Unhappiness. BUT tomorrow is the free skate which, we all know, means Tim Goebel is skating to An American in Paris! If he does the music change better and doesn't fall on his butt after the first quad combination, he is so winning gold. Life would be good. But alas, it may not happen. And Olympic dude who looks like a "Noah" didn't make it to the Olympics which means that he's not Olympic dude. Confusion, the stuff mental hospital applications are made of.

10:27 pm - But I didn't see Dick Button...
|
Incredible upset!!! The best news in American men's figure skating thus far in the world!!! Timothy Goebel, I kid you not, came in third. Yes, the Timothy Goebel I'm going to marry. And the best of all the news ever... MICHAEL WEISS FINISHED AHEAD OF TODD ELDREDGE!!!! wow. I still can't believe it. I mean, Todd Eldredge was a good skater, but he's lost his fire, his passion. Or at least he doesn't show it anymore. He's become a robot, emotionlessly turning out salchows and triples. Now, if the olympics were simply a sport of technicality, he'd do fine. But they're not, they're about "presentation". And Timothy Goebel has that all wrapped up.
On another note, I am officially a geek. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you. I was "pre-addmitted" (heyhey) to the, ahem, Stanford University Education Program for Gifted Youth. I feel so honored. This is a quote: "The College Board has identified you as someone with high potential for academic achievement." All I can say is WTF??? I didn't get that good of SAT scores. Oh well, guess I should be happy.

Life... ah, yes. Today was quite enjoyable. Took my mind off of last night, blech. Measure for Measure will no doubt be a wonderful play, though quite racy. You will get to hear Govind talk about sex. That, in and of itself, is a reason to come see our play. I would say that you get to hear me talk about sex, but everyone's heard that AT LEAST once. Takes the fun out of it.
I am a very strange person. You knew that. Love, Phoebe

I'm sorry, but I could NOT keep on living as "fi_babe". So now, I am hester_prynne. Yes, like Hester Prynne from the Scarlet Letter. I will keep my entries the same, same story continuing on. And if you MUST read the entries of fi_babe, continue to do so. But this is the journal I will be updating.
I guess I should tell about my day, or lack thereof. I have been laying in bed all day with cramps. I couldn't go to Yankee Doodle rehearsal tonight. Of course, the evil Brian Gaston calls and is so rude. I didn't know he could BE that rude. And I cried about my life. I cried, and cried, and cried.
