The part when Jimmy Fallon impersonated Avril Lavigne was the greatest. I liked the little kids as the band members. They were like what, 8? A low point of the VMAs was seeing Christina Aguilera wearing hardly anything. But Gideon Yago all spiffy looking in his suit definitely made up for it.

The place I've been volunteering at wants to hire me. I don't know how I feel about that. The place I've been looking into working at would make it possible for me to travel after college, which I want to do. It's not that I think the grass is greener on the other side, it's just that the world is filled with so many assholes I haven't met yet. I feel compelled to travel. I don't know what I want to do.

Friday was Kelly's smarty party. Great times, but it was really odd to be back at the Old School, considering I hadn't been there for something like nine or ten months. I saw a lot of people I didn't think I'd ever see again, and got to touch Steph's butt (the highlight of my evening, just kidding, just kidding). The weekend ruled all. I finally got to hang out with Andrea, one on one, and I went in search of snow. I actually found some too. Standing outside in August trying to catch snowflakes on one's tongue is something else. Tomorrow is BrandNew day. Excited? You bet.

Ahh, my parents finally left the house. Only eight more days left until Chelsea is coming over for the late-night-living-room dance party. Earlier today I got up and made a few phone calls just to get things squared away. Then I decided to see if Christopher still worked at the same salon he use to. I walked through the door and there he was. I forgot how gorgeous that guy is. Absolutely amazing. On my way home I decided to go to Don's Market for a milkshake (for breakfast :c)). When I got home Kim called me, and so did Don. It looks like I'm going to the art school first thing in the morning, then to the theater in the afternoon to evening, and when my shift is over there, I'll be heading to Kelly's gathering.
(I just had the best dinner EVER! Grilled cheese and cherry coke. mmm.)

I just got home from watching the CUTEST 5 year old ever. I didn't even mind the fact that I was kinda suckered into it. We played cards, Candy Land, colored, and watched a Britney Spears video. She looks like a really tiny Amélie. Aww, so cute.

The girls in Roy know whats goin down. I GOT TO SEE CATHY!! The bbq was goooood. Cathy, Kori, Stephanie, Kelly, Jessica, and Amy are all really cute girls. We ended up goin to some hometown restaurant and dancing. Watching them shake their stuff was fun. Definitely a night to remember.

I made THE best smoothie today. It was raspberry and oh so good. MTV's True Life show was too odd last night. Too odd. I got up really early today, and then felt tired for the rest of the day. But it was great bummin around the house.

The 4th was fun. I spent the day in Seattle with Steph-o and Drew. We walked all over the place, had dinner at Red Robin, and walked away with some "souvenirs". The fireworks were excellent, a car not starting wasn't so excellent. Tomorrow? Who knows...
