How does my Calendar work?

The LiveJournal Calendar View is not like other online calendars, in that it is not intended for personal use. As you create entries and place them into your journal, your calendar page will archive each entry according to date as it is entered.

The highlighted number in the date box indicates how many entries you have made on that day. Clicking on that number allows you to see all of the entries for that day, and makes navigating in your journal from day to day that much easier.
