| well lets see my gf and i were some of the first people to arrive at the park today. set-up was late so everyone was playing later which was no big deal of course, it seems to happen all the time. i just hung out for a bit as more people began to arrive. then it was my turn to play but i got pushed back two timeslots; still i could deal with it since it was decent out. finally i talked to josh and dig-dug and i was going up next. so doug finishes (nice guy btw) and i plug my headphones and put my first record down. suddenly the sound guy comes up to me and tells me that i can't play; their getting alot of complaints and he "wants to wind the party down". so i had been there all day and he was telling me that i couldn't play. even that i could deal with as i didn't want josh or the sound guy to get fined or lose any equipment. but the way he was going about it... man. he told me that josh wasn't around, that his friend jason was going to play (another nice guy btw) and that if i didn't like it that i could "get my own soundsystem and throw my own parties". not professional at all in my opinion. it was even stranger that when another dj was playing he had no problem talking to a complaining neighbor and straightening things out. so there i was arguing with him while dig-dug's last record is running out so i talked him into letting me play 4 records. after my 4 records i unplugged my headphones and let jason play. now what the fuck just happened here? i don't think that its outrageous that i'm dissapointed. i mean i thought i was booked for this party >:[ | ||||||

dude i always stay up so late and leave homework for last unless its monday, wednesday, friday when i'm at school and i'll stay at the library all day to get stuff done. otherwise i would never do anything i don't know why just lately it's been this way. maybe cause i can feel spring coming i swear i can smell it coming. i went outside tonight around midnight to meet casey at my door so i could let him borrow reservoir dogs and we stopped and chatted for a while like always but man i could feel it. and its only february which is normally a bleak month but my dad had just mowed the lawn and people were doing outdoor things all day. i stayed in my pajamas and hide behind the blinds spinning records all day. that shit feels good :) but when i went outside it was so nice i wanted to go skating or running or something. being out at night just makes you feel so alive. and everything is quiet, its just you the stars and the universe and some wheels rollin on the curb :) |

 i think i might sell my purple/indigo/whatever gamecube and get this deal at ebgames.com where you can get the platinum gamecube plus metroid for $149.99 the black one is cool but alicia already has that one it's lame that i had to get the purple one just cause i got it right away when it came out while wankers who waited later get their choice of dope colors and how come japan gets spice? its wierd to have the spice controller available here but not the system and see-through controller but no see-through system? and where are all the colors they showed when they debuted it: red, green, etc. black and platinum are the coolest though white would be pretty dope |
