i missed the open mic last night at encomium. awww. :(

i stayed home and waited for charelle to pick me up... then we went to mazzo a bit early... no one was there yet except for the head on people and sila jolo! anyway, yeah. things were going pretty slow, but they finally started the show around 11ish. we ended up chilling with margie and erica. *yey* haha i miss hanging out with lotsa girls. kinda gives you that schoolgirl-ish feeling again.

jolo and krook and d-coy performed... i was kinda hoping art would be there again, but no dice. sayang he was soo good pa naman last week.

ginn and c-lo (the ghost) were there. and cj, that dj from rx! LOL again, it was s0o0o0 unbelievable. i felt like a celebrity from some stupid movie. or like mandy moore in that elton john vid. hahahaha. c-lo bought an album from me and he was pimping it out to everyone after. inside mazzo AND outside while we were chilling with fat leo. hahaha. and cj kept on goin like, "so YOU'RE LiL MiaO eh?" hahahaahahah.

margie (the reckless driver extraordinaire) took me home. :) thanks beb. i had so much fun. sayang "the Bridge" isnt weekly. hah. hope i'll be performing in the next Head On gigs this december.

just got home from mazzo with relle, butch and ryan.

artstrong performed... and he was phenomenal. OMG. and arby thinks i can go back to back with him for a couple of shows? no way, yo. he is just TOO GOOD. they wanted me to grab a mic and perform too but i declined because there was NO WAY i could have possibly looked credible after artsrong played the guitar. man.

but they did ask if i wanted to perform next week, and i said yes. so i'm heading over to mazzo right after i sing at the encomium open mic next wednesday (silly me, i owe encomium a performance cos i didn't perform last tuesday).

it's been a while since i actually went out with my hiphop friends. it was nice... i hadn't realized that i'd missed it a bit. i saw erica, and kris, and most of the head on people. jay roy went up to me, and i didn't recognize him (my bad!) and apparently he remembers me from that awful first illdef gig. waaaaay back, in watering hole. hahaha.

so yeah... mostly i just chilled with relle. she's a sweet girl. :) we're going to work on a couple of songs. *sigh* i still miss lai though. but yeah, going back to relle... she's sweet, and thoughtful. and nice. although she calls me momma mia. heh.

guess i better go crash now. :)

just came home from pg's studio. pg's this guy i've been hearing of for the longest time, but i've never met. anyway, he's part of Head On Productions... and today they sorta tested me out to asee if i could be in their shows and if i could record with them.

i think it went well. *faints* hopefully, they'll be doing my album. FOR REAL. not just pipe dreams, mind you. i'm through waiting for bong.

and yeah, last night i was at The THrowdown, this production caliph8 does at mayrics. i got to see Jay Flava (of chinese mafia) and SYKE and badburn perform. plus jay flava got me up on stage to bust a verse. wala lang. jay wants to help me with my music, but i'm thinking that i should stick with head on.

syke was nice. REALLY nice. and to think he's my idol. i felt like that girl Bono got from the crowd during their last concert, when he sang to her on stage. syke was REALLY REALLY nice. i had a headache and he massaged my head, and he put his arm around me to steady me. plus he talked to me a lot cos he knew i didn't know a lot of people in the place.

anyway. more kwento later. now i have to cram lyrics for pg and the rest of them.
