cool stuff. i just got back from seeing The McGees play. very entertaining show. definetely fun times. i just felt ticked for (seemingly as always) having to leave in the middle of a show. i only got to see like 10 minutes of Korova and they're good. i didn't see any of Dissolute. they'd be probably just finishing up right now.
i also bought ATDI's in/casino/out today. i am completely blown away at how soft and melodic this cd is compared with relationship of command. this one actually reminds me more of what mars volta is sounding like. somewhat at least (well, maybe not, i dunno). sheesh, march 26th. mars volta ep. hopefully streetside gets it. they have a nasty habbit of not getting stuff (like the alk3-hwm split, the weezer tribute, etc. etc.)
oh, and here's a question....... since when is buying a new cd more important and more worth your money than supporting friends?! i mean crap, if money is such an issue, go without a damn cd for a week!
cya for now.

Why is it that Five Iron isn't gonna come through St. Louis on Warped? Huh? Answer Me! They play the east coast leg, but as usual we aren't good enough or something. Oh well, at least there's always Cornerstone. And so many people are supposed to go this year. That should be cool. Haha. We'll be one of those big obnoxious campsites that keeps everybody else up till 4 in the morning! Rock on. I'm tired so I think I'm gonna go to bed or something. I'm also kinda lonely as always. I hate that, but what can ya do? Later.

there was an assembly last hour in the gym. like 200 people showed up out of our school's 2500. Haha, thats pretty standard tho. Natalie played. HOLY SHIT she is so incredibly talented. pardon the french but the girl is mind blowing.
a few minutes ago i heard the new Blink side project called i think Boxcar Racer. It actually sounds really pretty good. You can tell that this is what they'd rather be playing if it weren't for record labels. It's catchy but hardcore at the same time, more like stay together for the kids than their poppy stuff. Hopefully the rest of the album will be like the 2 songs I got.
im gonna go eat lunch now, peace.

|
hmm, in my last post i said MTV sucks except for the middle of the night........well, i can't sleep right now and I just watched a show of videos hosted by Moby that was awesome. they played white stripes, clinic, air, some old school david bowie and another i think another, i can't remember. but man it was cool to see some unique videos being played for a change. hopefully this isn't a one time deal. im gonna go try and sleep again. peace.

gwahslgjks, this is a really good song. it's kinda poppy for victory records, but still really good. and it almost erases the memory of Simple Plan. ALMOST.
That mtv movie that brought forth the butchering of the Dashboard video is on. I'm gonna go not give it ratings 'cause MTV sucks, except in the middle of the night, and The Osbournes - that show rocks.

i was supposed to go to some open house for accepted students of Loyola at some hotel, but I'm not. oh and my grades really suck, thats kinda funny. they went from a 3.7 to 2.4. isn't senioritis fun? hell yes it is. and im actually really excited about proving that i can get them back up though.
so im doing this top 10 action movie list for newspaper, except this other guy gets to choose also, and he wants The Rock on there, but The Rock sucks. and thus in this situation, democracy sucks.
but now I am going to go learn math. i haven't done that in a while, and I figure that it might be fun to accomplish something for a change.
peace, Jeff

oh hell yeah, American Ninja is on tv. this is epitome of the cheesy 80's action flick. this guy just jumped out of a window for absolutely no reason at all. oh yeah! a jeep just hit a tree at about 5 miles an hour and burst into flames. this movie is classic.

wow, i heard quite possibly the most horribly stereotypical pop-punk band alive today. they are called Simple Plan. look! we can jump in unison! it makes me sick. they are just too darn catchy and overdone and corporate. they will be huge. and to think, i would have loved them to death 6 months ago. hell, i can't get the song out of my head now! stupid catchy pop melodies, lol.....

haha, this is genius, the ace troubleshooter website runs off of Geocities. sorry, im a web-geek.
I heard a new NFG song today, it sounds.....exactly like New Found Glory, big surprise. It must suck having a record label telling you exactly what to do, and Kirkland says that Chad hates the songs that he has to write. Oh Major Label woes. Midtown's next.
Time magazine had a story today on both The Faint and Desaparecidos. I really wasn't expecting to see that, cool stuff.

hi, brand new was ok. they were pop-punk, but at least they were good at it. further seems forever was awesome. hearing monachetti live was worth my 8 bucks. hot rod circuit was good, but i had to leave halfway through their set. i hate when that happens. i also felt bad because the place really emptied out after further got done, and hot rod was impressive, but i had to leave so i was part of the problem. oh well. but wow, bwahahaha...i need to go to more shows, i almost forgot how cool they are.
[edited later] ok so as i was writing this, a window popped up on the computer that said "get back to school work" then i couldn't type anything. the man. i hate the man. i hate this school. the girl next to me was writing an e-mail to her friend for an hour and didn't get hassled, but they evesdrop on me and screwed with the computer b/c i spent 45 seconds writing one of these.
now we're checking out The Three Amigos on one of the DVD players in newspaper. i love that movie. peace.

hi.
today was a total mixed bag. the chronies all went to this playground and ran amuck. it was fun. hide and seek takes on an entirely new level of enjoyment when you're 18 and not 8. the whole social order in my life made a complete u-turn today. what was the norm like last september and october was today. i know exactly why, but it's still odd. hmm, what else....drew said he was whipped. man that was funny b/c its been so uncompromisingly true (at least until today, that is). he's taken his first step into a normal world once again. haha.
i'm really bummed right now. not about anything from earlier today, but just, hmm, im bummed. i hate feeling so alone, and that whole feeling has come rushing back to me this past few days. I feel like no one gets me at all, and that no one out there appreciates what they have (including me). i'm tired of people being jerks to everybody else for petty and insignificant reasons. sometimes i feel like the only person who doesn't really hate someone else. it sucks. i wish i could think of a more descriptive word than sucks, but i can't. sucks. i feel so isolated right now. i want to talk to somebody. a girl wouldn't hurt. haha. i hate this word with a passion, but it describes me quite well tonight......emo. yes, i am emo.
i'm gonna go keep doing website stuff. i think i get to make 2 more, other than pole position. sometimes my dorkiness pours out. im actually pretty pumped about it. after all, it's just something else to draw my attention away from school. :-)
cya. i have no idea if ill get to update this until monday so....in case i dont see ya....good afternoon, good evening, and goodnight......i can't believe i just wrote that.
