The Benevolent Penguin Society BPS is created as a funding mechanism and resource for "Good Works" for the Linux Community, or for the greater community at large on behalf of the Linux Community. In the year 2000, advancing the education of "children in need" through Linux advocacy and Internet access will be our major focus. But, any project that positively impacts the development of Linux is also a sought after goal and will be considered for funding.
