Tucows Inc. is a leading provider of Internet services to Internet service providers (ISPs) and Web hosting companies on a global basis. Launched in 1993 as a software download site, Tucows now provides outsourced domain name registrations through its network of more than 5,000 resellers in more than 100 countries. In August 2001, Tucows merged with Infonautics, Inc., a leading Internet information services company and provider of online information sites. The company will continue to be quoted on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board as maintained by Nasdaq under the symbol “TCOW.” With the merger Tucows has acquired the search and reference media site: NewsDirectory.com.
