About
NAB's Career Center
A free
referral service linking broadcasters and culturally diverse, qualified
candidates
Through
the Career Center, NAB helps broadcasters and related companies recruit
qualified job candidates who reflect the diversity of the community's
population. NAB member radio and television stations and associate member
companies across the nation can post their job openings directly onto
the Career Center web site.
Job seekers
can view a variety of jobs, ranging from entry-level to managerial positions.
To obtain detailed information about a position, applicants can send a
cover letter and resume to the station of interest. Each station is responsible
for its own interviews, hiring decisions, salaries, etc.
A tool to promote employment
non-discrimination and workplace diversity
The Career Center also helps to place qualified applicants, including those from culturally
and racially diverse backgrounds, in the employment pool for varied jobs. Established in 1973, The Career
Center (originally called Employment Clearinghouse) makes referrals for approximately 3,000 job openings each
year, with a special emphasis on multicultural diversity-building initiatives.
Jobline
The Career Center 24-hour Jobline at (202) 429-5359 offers a smaller listing of
broadcast jobs. Openings are listed with an address and/or fax number. To obtain detailed information,
job-seekers should contact the station of interest.
