9:58 pm - A fun, Food Filled Day!

I had a bad beginning of a morning due to a really crappy dream I had lastnight. My 4.5 day headache finally left though, but now my right shoulder is really bugging me. I need a massage in the worst way.
This afternoon I was invited along with Jimmy,Croc, and Kess out to Clarkes for a fantastic lunch. Not overly stuffed, I had a craving for icecream, so while Jimmy and Croc headed back to their place, I treated Kess to ColdStone Creamery for some delicious icecream creations. I believe he really liked it. I loooved the creation I had... with black cherries.. MMMMMmmmMmM!!
We headed back to Jimmy and Croc' pad for some movies and a lot of snuggling (yay! I REALLLLLY needed that, Kess is a great snuggler, murrr) We saw Logan's Run (yeah old but I still really like that movie) and some spoof on Madonna called Medusa with Julie Brown. It was very funny.
Then, a nice surprise, I was told Colson was coming over to cook for all of us! I kicked in some moola for some groceries. HOLY COW that boy can cook!! We had Creole stuffed chicken. I must say those were some of the BEST mashed potatoes I have ever had. Bacon, Cheese, green onions, Damn... YUMMMY!!
*burp* I am full. It's almost bed time for me.
Thanks fo inviting me along, I had a great time. I hope we can do it again soon!

Today was fun... a few of us, Myself, Frysco, Brigus, Jonathan and Brokken went over to Jimmy and Croc's place to Pounce Croc when he got home from shopping!
YAY! It went off without a hitch :) There should be some cute pictures coming soon.
Unfortunately I was NOT feeling well at all, so I took my leave only about a hour of hanging around.
I came home, had some soup and some crackers, and I feel a bit better now, but I still have this 4-day old headache. :P I hope I can get rid of this soon.

Thank gods for the Tax return! It didn't hit me nearly as bad as if I didn't have my taxed back yet.
A couple days ago a weird squeel/rumbling sound started and I KNEW it was a bad sign... I had a coworker listen to it and he guessed it was the Distributor Shaft Bearing going out. Guess what it was? BINGO, the Distributor Shaft Bearing going out (laugh)
Well, it was an expensive part. Labor was only $75.

Was invited out to Sushi with a bunch of furs to say goodbye to YappyFox and KP before they headed back out to Florida. Excellent food, and very nice resturant. I LOOOVE steam, salted Soybeans, oh MAN do I love them. :) I ate a whole bowl to myself. And can't forget the Mochi.. MmmMMm.
Lessee: There was Yappy,KP,Loran,Penh,Arlon,Myself,Flint,Toraneko,and Aeto (I think I got everyone) Unfortunately Jimmy, Croc and Frysco didn't come along. They were definately missed.
It was a fun time, talked about various things and now I really wanna visit Florida. Wildwolf was talking to me online and he REALLY wants me to come to MegaPlex.
Hm, things to think about.

9:04 am - A bit of trolling at the mall...

Yesterday was relaxing. Jonathan (the cute sammy) and I were talking earlier in the week of doing lunch on Sunday, so we did!
We decided to meet at the "So-So Mall" aka "The Great Mall of The Bay Area". I waited out front of Century Theatres... and wait...and wait... and wait... after 15 minutes I figured he HAD to be here, so I walked over to the actual Mall Enterance, and there we was sitting in a corner at The OutBack Steakhouse. (laugh) no wonder I couldn't find him, he was sitting in a CORNER!
We went into the mall trying to find somewhere to eat. After crawling the mall for quite a bit, we decided for Dave and Busters. Damn they make DELICIOUS Cheese burgers. I haven't had one QUITE that good in a long time. :) We just caught up on stuff, and at 3PM I went home.
When I got home I talked to  ladydeyote for a bit, and she showed me the finished inked version of a certain sexy buck I had commissioned. She also did a very cute colored version. I was bored to tears at home, and was thinking I haven't touched Photoshop in AGES. I used to color quite often in it, and wanted to try again. I asked Lady DeYote's permission to change the tail a bit and color it, and she was more than awesome to say SURE! If I get the OK from her and the Buck I will post the final version of it on my LJ. :) I had fun spending 5 hours toodling in Photoshop. Filters are my friend. Especially the FUR filter! (GRIN)

10:25 am - Lost Shuttle Columbia this morning...

As most of you have seen through other LJs, we lost the Space Shuttle Columbia this morning on Re-Entry. They still don't know what caused it. But Damnit, that brought back a sad day in 1986.
Ramalion had this posted on his LJ, I had to share it. Bizarre that a weather tracker spotted this.

One thing I can say, after 22 years, 2 accidents and hundreds of flights of something so complicated is a amazing ratio of success. Yes, it is very dangerous, and everyone involved must know that. But, honestly, I think it's time to retired all current shuttles and create two or three completely brand new designs. The technology has changed drastically in 22 years, lets use it.
I am sad for our loss today.

10:16 pm - Rollercoaster Ride of emotions today...

Day started out crappy.. Found out that a friend of mine had to put his 18 year old cat to sleep this morning. :( I will miss Mitsy.
Had my annual OB/GYN Dr. Appointment... and when they took my weight I almost died. Ugh, I have gained 60lbs in the last 10 years, how pathetic. I think the 8 years I was depressed didn't help that much.
I need help. Does ANYONE out there want to become my Gym Buddy? I already have a 24hr Fitness account, and would like to start going at least 2 times a week for an hour. But I need someone to push me to go and go with me. Anyone?

9:52 am - Yay!! FC is today! I am still packing!

I was up til 1AM working on some last things on my costumes.
1. I FINALLY finished Jak and Aby's noses! They are very cute (thanks to Dirus for the pattern, and Penh for helping me see in 3d)
2. I got to pizza late, but its was fine, people were still streaming in. The place was PACKED last night!!
3. Came home around 9:30 and ripped Aby's noses off, trimmed it, and re-sewed it a bit better. Then I got some of that long grey fur and added grey to Vortex's shoulders. Looks pretty good.
4. This morning, I am packing like mad. I am definately going to need a second trip to the hotel. I don't think Vortex is going to fit with that wingpack.
5. Changed the cat box litter.
6. Before I leave I need a shower. heh
