Whoo! Went to "A Day On The Green" on Sunday with Erin... read more about that here. Also, school formal on Tuesday night - how cool. I took Mark and Erin took Jarrod and we went cruising into Toorak in her dad's flower-decorated van. Hippy van! Yeah! And Mark was totally nice and Jarrod is damn funny and even Craig was cool and everyone seemed to get along nicely. And Mark gave me a rose. Awww. Then, back to Erin's joint with Jarrod for some handy late night television: Tremors 2 - wtf? And some weird movie with Ivana Trump. And the worst part is that we actually watched them. And them the start of some totally wacked anime film... right... aufwedersien! Bought the Badloves CD "The Mushroom Tapes" yesterday. Went out in the pouring, freezing rain to catch a bus to Heidelberg and buy it. But it's worth it. Damn groovy songs... yes, Jak even manages to get the word 'groovy' into his lyrics not once but twice! Damn that guy rocks. Jess loves Jak. I think that's about it. Today I helped out Mum at school. Oh, got back my piano results - a Pass (70) for the theory and an Honours (89 - yes!) for practical. And Robert said that apparently I've got the highest score in Australia for modern piano or something. Dude. Okay guys, I'd really love some feedback here... I just finished a song. Thoughts, anyone? It hasn't got a name yet... Here goes: I wish that I could say that I don't need you anymore That I could smile and show that I'm okay At night, when I'm alone, I feel you hold me close to you You whisper in my ear and tell me it's alright And maybe if I wish and hope and dream and pray But, no, I don't need you, I don't want you anyway My dreams are filled with silence, darkness is my friend I turn to look for you, but you're not there Sometimes I feel so small, I need someone to guide me through this To smile and tell me that everything's okay Sometimes I reach for you, my arms outstretched in silent yearning And maybe if I wish and hope and dream and pray But, no, I don't need you, I don't want you anyway My dreams are filled with silence, darkness is my friend I turn to look for you, but you're not there I turn to look for you, you don't need me anymore. I was thinking of calling it "Wish"... whaddya reckon, dudes? Current Mood: weirdCurrent Music: my songie | Sunday, September 15th, 2002 | 12:24 pm |

wow, gee, haven't been here in awhile. what to say? i've missed this place. jess - you always knew that weezer were cool, didn't you? i just recently found out. rivers is cute. had a 'reflection day' today at school and i'm exhausted. nice people came in to do it, but it was a bit confronting for me... also erin was upset and i... well, i don't know... i feel like i should be able to help her more. i've been feeling like that a lot recently - like it's all up to me to make the world a better place. i think i need a knew mind frame - something along the lines of: screw the world. bonnie's making a nuisance of herself barking at something and i'm hungry. gotta go. Okay, I was just thinking of having a simple movie night for my birthday... then again, maybe invite a couple of people over for the weekend. Might be good. Anyhow, yes, some movies maybe: * Almost Famous (love that movie!) * Dead Poet's Society (haven't seen it in awhile) * Now & Then (still not over it!) * A Hard Day's Night (maybe... not sure about it... might've seen it too many time like the Holy Grail and need a break. Not sure...) Don't know what else... On another note, me and Erin were trying to come up with a name for our 'band'. lol. She suggested The Chartreuse Enigma, but it sounded a bit wordy and, well, Emo. I don't know. I quite liked something to do with belladonna... just Belladonna maybe, or The Belladonnas. It might be a bit unoriginal, though, it sounds like some other band names... I like the idea of having a 'the' before the name, it sounds distinguished like, like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones or The Whitlams or whatever. We also liked the word Champignon. It's French for mushroom. haha. I don't know. Anyone have any ideas? Or like any of those? We really need a name... People in your company think you are unreal, they are hallucinating. You are creativly inspiring aswell as you make people delirious and delusional. You make time appear distorted, colours appear brighter, sounds more sharper and things seem to change shape. Sometimes people are frightened by you and get scared of everything. You mess people up, one minute they could be laughing the next they are sobbing. Sometimes you disress people so much they try to commit suicide. When people have spent alot of time with you, they get a 'flashback', they could be on a train comming home from work and suddenly start mocking the bloke next to them who appears to have grown a long hairy snout like a rat. You are Country! Hopelessly smitten with a bunch of no-good two-timing bastards, you are Country music. You are a sweet and honest person most of the time... too bad those close to you aren't. Your main theme is angst, broken hearts, and general mistreatment by those you love. whether they are truly bastards or you do something to provoke this is not clear, but one thing's certain: you are tired of having your feelings toyed with.

Visionary, revolutionary, vigilante - these descriptions all fit you well. You are thoroughly disgusted with society and humanity as a whole, and you have several rather diabolical plans to reshape it to fit your designs. You're probably a loner, and most people think you're crazy. That's just because they don't understand, though, and you'll show them someday anyway. Heh heh heh. You are known to become very passionate about many causes, have torrid love affairs, and be seen as a either a demagogue or a hero to the proletariat masses.

3. Which "Sgt. Pepper" uniform was the best? George's.
4. Which is better... "Yellow Submarine" or "Octopus's Garden"? Yellow Submarine.

7. Which "clue" that he is dead is your favorite? I don't really have a favourite... although my MSN name at the moment is "turn me on, dead man"
8. Would you believe in a love at first sight? Maybe. (I couldn't do it)
9. Ever seen a Beatles film? Hell yes. And, at the cinema too!
10. What do you think John is really saying at the end of "Strawberry Fields Forever"? Cranberry sauce... then something about his mother...
11. Did you get the impression that the girl's house was lit on fire at the end of "Norwegian Wood"? Not until a different survey asked me...
12. Which is better... "This Boy" or "Yes it is"? haha, I don't know the latter.
13. Why was "Please Please Me" left off the 1 album? Probably because it didn't fit the criteria...

15. Do you find "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" disturbing? I did.
16. How about "Run for Your Life"? Very muchly so.

30. Do you think Desmond and Molly lived happy ever after? Of course...
31. Which Beatle wrote the best songs? I don't know... because John's and Paul's were kind of helped along by each other, and only a few of George's (i.e. the very best of them, as opposed to most of John's and Paul's) were recorded... so, yeah...
32. Which version of "The Long and Winding Road" is better... the Anthology 3 version or the strings-enhanced single? Once again, I've only heard the string-y version.

39. Do you think the "Magical Mystery Tour" album was not very good? The album's great!
40. How long have you liked the Beatles? A year and a half or so... thanks to 1 and finding my mum's old cassettes. | 9:31 pm |
Okay, what's happening at the moment? Yesterday, I took Bonnie to dog school - she has an assessment next week, but the instructor told me there's almost no way that she can't pass. So that's nice. Then I went to a play with Kat - we went to it because Brook Sykes (an actor she likes) is in it. It was actually really good... it got me thinking about a lot of stuff. After that, I worked at a Splash gig - the lineup: Fight Against Maturity (mostly covers, but not bad ones - Greenday "When I Come Around", Blink-182 "Dammit", Men At Work "Down Under" hehe.), Shifter (also not bad, funny song called "Techno Sucks"), Mind Games (I left the hall for that one and hung around at the door - too damn loud for me, and all noise, not any sort of music), and then - wait for it - Another Race. I was just buggered by the time they came on, and sick of loud music, so I spent the whole time thinking shut the fuck up. But I met the guys afterwards, and they were really nice. So I take it back.
Today, did so much PE Theory work it's not funny. So boring. Then went to Antioch, but there were only about 7 people, so it was a bit dodgy and finished at 8:45pm. Michael wasn't there. I called him tonight, but the machine answered, so I hung up. lol. I hate machines.
Oh my god, I just downloaded my mail, and I have 179 or something new messages. How scary is that? That's what I get for finally having a life and not going online for a few days. | Sunday, April 14th, 2002 | 3:55 pm |
