...the ONYX is here/ my name is sticky fingaz/ i'm that nigga in your nightmares.
classic line from a classic guy. that ONYX is just now "on an' crackin'" here in OREGON.
Fuckin' updates are sporadic, like Oprah Winfrey's weight. Oh wait(weight), she is ALWAYS fat.
Been listening to a lot of Jim Rome lately. I have to say, I hate his style, a critic's critic, but I love the commentary. If anyone caught the show today, how about the jive on XR4TI by Mercur. Solid as Stone Mountain, baby.
I am coming to the ATL on August 29th, so beware, be ready, and be fucking prepared. I realized that my last visit was p--sy as f--k. I am prepared to TOTALLY REDEEM MYSELF.
As you all can tell, I just learned the power of the CAPS button, and am using it to utter, utter perfection.
Tiger Roast should be blas-famous. For all those not in the loop, please visit www.tigerroast.com
For all those in the loop, please welcome those out of the loop. I am opening up this muthafucka to anyone and everyone with a working (fake or real) ID and a stomach ready for a BUDWEISER cleansing... shouts out to Crainedaddy and family on the A-Hei-B reference.
I am out like a women's vote before sufferage.

What's up people?
Happy Russian B-Day to 'tha Tank'.
Johnson, put the f-ing pidgeon in flight.
Whit moved in with me... I guess it is good on the ole pocketbook, if I had a pocketbook, but it kind of ruins my privacy. I like being alone and walking around in whatever the hell I want. It is not that I walk around naked all the time or anything... just that I USED to have that options. Life is all about options, baby.

Everything changes... |
[14 May 2002|04:20am] |
Atlanta was, well... Atlanta was really good. I think that I overextended myself trying to do everything for everyone. My next vacation is going to be all about me doing what I want to do. Not that I didn't, just that I could have had a better time if I didn't try to fit every possible activity into one week at home. For example... I went out every single night, yet didn't have ONE night out of all of those that I would call extra memorable. I carry some high expectations into Atlanta, but that ain't it either... it was the fact that I was fucking exhausted every night by the time I went out, so I could not 'get it up' for nightlife, goodtimes, burrows fun.
But, oh well. By Saturday night, I was at my wit's end. So fucking tired, already hungover from the day's drinking, and a little pissed with the fact that we left the Saloon to go to lame-ass Moon-diggity's.
What can I say, maybe I am not as much fun as I used to be. Maybe I was never THAT much fun, but this trip home without question proves the point that you got to 'pick your nights' and not try to do it all.....
Atlanta Highlights: 1982 Bravos Hat purchase, playing with my dog, Braves game, seeing all my peoples, Chik-fil-A, Waffle House, seeing my bro and my 'rents, Jessie, getting a tan.
Atlanta Lowlights: SEEING BARRY FREEMAN, Moondogs, The Dunwoody Tavern, not going to Athens, seeing Carl Mullis.
Back to the grind here in Oregon... I need a fucking vacation.

All I need is one blunt, one page, and one pen, one prayer- tell God forgive me for one sin... |
[24 Apr 2002|04:24am] |
Hello world. Coming back to the ATL. and ATH. on May 5th. That is Cinco de Mayo for all those out of the latino loop.
Gonna mix it up right nice with a concoction of Athens nights out, bedridden days, and baseball games played by the Bravos. If the AAC pool is open, you can find me basking all day like it's a 9 to 5.
Wish Y2C and Y2Z were still around... but can't forsake the rest of the fellas, well, except for the Fella himself.
Holla.

How bout I give you a spoon so you can eat my ass... |
[08 Apr 2002|09:32pm] |
Just bought a BOSE surround sound system... my entertainment system is coming together nicely. It came with a reciever and an extra CD player... nice. I also bought SO SO DEF productions "Ball Above All" DVD. Pretty good. Lots of shakin' and bakin', but not as many highlights as there were rapper and Sinbad cameos. Whatever. Had a good weekend. Golf, two nights out, and some shopping. No stress...

What is up to my peoples who I left behind... |
[29 Mar 2002|04:46am] |
Wow. It has been a while. If anyone still reads this, or I am still on anyone's list... whadddddup? It has been an eventful few months since I last checked in. Let's see, where shall I begin?
First things first, I freaks no honeys in Oregon. That is gonna change real soon though. I finally got this work thing down, so I will be visiting the local watering holes more and more often.
Second, I got in a horrible, horrible car accident about a month ago. (Craine, you will appreciate this shit) I was driving home in the sideways Oregon rain, and coming off my exit ramp, I swerved to miss a puppy in the road. Someone must have poured grease all up on the ramp because I lost control of my beautiful blue Jeep Grand Cherokee and flipped that fucker over against the gaurdrail. I crawled out from under the wreckage unscathed, save multiple pieces of glass lodged in the hands, a huge gash in the burrow's back and a rather large head injury. Thanks to... well, thanks to luck, I was not seriously hurt. Slight concussion, slight blood loss, and a very sore wrist (it is still sore and I pout about it alot). So, my Jeep is totalled and my company is furnishing me with a Bonneville as my replacement ride. I would say "I am going to make the Bonneville cool again" but it never was cool, so I am gonna have to start from scratch on that.
All other events slip my mind and I am tired of typing, but I will check back soon... promise.

Back in OR. |
[29 Nov 2001|08:33am] |
Had a great trip back home. It was fun to all that participated. My class rerrunion was off the chains. Except for the part when we left Midtown to go to Moondogs. I would say that is horrible decision making by a group of people who at least graduated high school. (At least we didn't go to Rendezvous)
I am sorry that I missed Craine, the Fella, and Pelky. I don't know where them fools was... except that the Fella left the state.
I'll be back on December 23rd. Holla.

Anticipation |
[19 Nov 2001|01:49am] |
Can't wait to hit the ATL. tomorrow evening. Touchdown at 7:17pm. Everything is set to get the party started in Athens on Tuesday night. Whoever is there, get ready. I have never been more excited about Thanksgiving holidays in my life.

A lapdance is always better when the stripper's crying... |
[13 Nov 2001|08:38pm] |
Less than a week b-4 my arrival in Atlanta. I was just thinking that is sucks I only have two really good 'going out' nights in Atlanta, and one in Athens out of 9 days total. But, it will be great to be with my fam and friends.
Johnson, tell your mom to start filling a ziplock with london broil...
Fella, fill up the outdoor fridge with Keystone tallboys... and tell your Pops to put a shirt on.
Understands we can't be stopped, from blowin swisher sweets out of candy drops...
Speaking of, I can't wait for the new UGK album. In stores when? Soon, I know. I saw a muted commercial for it yesterday.
I had to be up and online at 7am for a conference call this morning. That might be the worst thing about the West Coast... that and Eugene, OR. I feel like I am always 3 hours behind in real time and 10 years behind in city life.
Lots of Carnie's live here, you know, Circus Folk.

JW Goodtimes is back |
[12 Nov 2001|03:45am] |
Well, I finally busted my Eugene cherry last night. How exciting. I am glad that I got that out of the way, now lets keep the party going.
Last Night: Watched the 'Kangs' with Whit, Bri, and Jim... then switched the set and hit the bars with Mark. Had a fantastic evening with one that is engaged to be married to a guy that is not me. Gots intentions on going out Wednesday night. Apparetnly, that is 'the' night around here. I am getting myself dialed in a little better now.
I am officially a slut-face and give my number to every girl I meet. I am never getting another girls number again. I will just give them mine. It all works out better that way, trust me.

A day in the life of a player named Quik... |
[05 Nov 2001|01:08am] |
Someone offered me mushrooms on the way to the bar last night. I turned down the lovely offer. I pass on grass all the time. Ha.
I kissed an Asian girl last night. I told her that the Fella would not approve of such race swirling, but I would allow it for one evening only as a token of appreciation for her people allowing us to beta test our nuclear weapons on her sovereign island. Like it? Also told her that I would buy her a drink, except that I'm a baller on a budget these days...
Wizards/Sixers today. Right after a potent mixture of Real World reruns and Notre Dame/Tennessee football.

Panic in Portland |
[18 Oct 2001|10:29pm] |
What's up. I saw WSP in Portland last night. I am a fan, but not a follower. Needless to say, the concert was amazing, in part due simply to the fact that they are from the homeland and remind me of the ATH.
I have tried reasonably hard not to like Jay-Z, but I have laid my sword down and waived the white flag. Jigga gots skillz... 5 albums straight.
Oregon is the weirdest place on earth. No tailgating for football games, even though the Ducks are No. 5, no good looking sorority girls withOUT boyfriends, and the fucking black radio station here has white DJs. Let's clarify... they have white DJs who talk in Alfonso Ribiero's famous Carlton voice and spit out phrases like 'keeping it reazy' and 'holdING it down'. GIve me a fucking break.
As Craine would say, "I thought this was America people"
I'm out like the hightop fade, though its coming back...

Arguably my best night in Atlanta ever... |
[23 Jul 2001|09:43am] |
Massive shouts out to all my people who showed up and hung with me on Saturday night. To say it was both a memorable group and a memorable night would be a gross understatement. Ya'll are the shit and the greatest of friends.
A little recap: First and foremost, special thanks to Harris & Jack's for, I am sure, losing business due to the loud, obnoxious group on the John Holmes VIP platform. The meal was amazing... Okay, we are off... 1.) Guest appearences by my friend Leigh and her friend. If ya don't know, now you know... 2.) Shots, Shots, and more shots. 3.) Moondogs-- Got to shout at Bjorn for a minute and Jill Sousa... ooooooh. 4.) Went down to Buckhead Saloon where we met up with '3 dollar Girl'. Good Gawd man... 5.) Left out and hit the Riviera. ... Let's pause for a minute. It is now probably 3:00am or so. I have a feeling some of the group is tired and onry. This comes to reality. I think Comerford (bless his country ass) was out of his league in an all Big City crowd. I tried pushing weight at the door at Riviera, moving 4 of our 8 in about 5-10 minutes. But, it seemed as though the rest of the crew (who were all twice my size) got pushed to the wayside. Sucks, but hey... My eyes were on the prize and I couldn't hear my phone anyway. 6.) Walked outside with '3 dollar' to get paystub... ran into Jenny Mallett. Said my sweet goodbyes. 7.) Scored. 8.) Danced and hung with Choochy and 3 dollar all night. 9.) Where in the fuck did Craine go??? 10.) Got dropped off at my car, 6:40am. Got back into the Riviera, 6:55am. 11.) Walked out into the light 8:45am. 12.) Slept all day with the bullshit thinking that I was going to American Pie last night... whhhhhhat? To sum up, had an f'n ball with the boys. I wish the rest had gotten in, but I don't think there was anything that I could have done to help/whatever. The night was fully complete after Buckhead Saloon, but I am glad that I went the extra mile. It was well worth the $180 I dropped. Peace.
