Just awoken from a dream, because I bit the inside of my mouth so hard it shook me awake, and I believe I popped a blood vessel inside my mouth. I have a little circular black spot on the right hand inside side of my mouth. Anyone have any idea what I should do, or watch for?

Ah Boston. Never thought I'd miss it, but I did. I had a wonderful night at Manray Wednesday, which was also a pleasant surprise. Mmmm, yes indeed, a very good night. Stuffed myself like a piggy yesterday, wandered around the city today, and today and tomorrow I'll be spending some quality time with friends and family.

I hate when people say they're going to hire me, and then they never get back to me. Fuckers.
Anyway, I have a job interview tomorrow at Home Instead. They provide companionship and meal preparation for senior citizens among other things. I'm tired of slinging coffee and basic retail. I want a more meaningful job, and I think I will get as much out of this as these people will get from me.
So keep your fingers crossed for me that I get it.
Maybe this is why I didn't get the job at Starfucks. Maybe this is what I need to be doing aside from theater. I've always thought about volunteering or somesuch, but never had the time to do it.
Alright, homework time.

3:06 pm - All work and no play makes Helena something something

While all of my friends are off camping in the woods and having a grand old time, I will be here at work as per usual. I started work at 9am this morning, I'll be leaving around 10pm to come back in tomorrow at 7am, followed by an early shift on saturday morning so I can nap before coming back in at 11pm.
*le sigh*
The overtime is fab, but most of it will get swiped for taxes, and the rest will go to paying for the computer and the dorm.
I suppose I should get used to being broke given the fact that 1) I'm moving to NYC and 2) I'm doing theater
heh....I'm going to be broke for the rest of my life.
oh well...

If anyone is intersted in coming out and playing a bit of Shakespeare this thursday, methinks the Merry Band of Players will be gathering at JKF park near Harvard sq. around 6:30.

8:25 am - Financial Aid Woes

So I got next to nothing in financial aid for the new school. A $3,500 scholarship, and the rest of the $22,0000 is in loans, nor did I receive any money for housing. Can anyone recommend any good places to search for scholarships/grants, whatever. I'm just a bit apprehensive about going now.

I don't think I've had a peaceful nights sleep all week. Last night I dreamt of sitting at my bedroom window watching all of the houses around me getting bombed, watched them engulfed in flames, watched people jump out of their windows to escape it. It was terrible. What was even more terrible is that when I tried to leave my house I couldn't find my family or any of my friends. I was alone, and surrounded by fire and the sound of bombs.
I don't know why I even try to sleep anymore.

I'm wide awake. It's pretty amazing actually, and I only had to take 8 no doz to achieve this state.
