MS SQL Worm
The Internet has been alive with chat about the release on the weekend of a worm that attacked MS SQL servers and used them to seek nearby servers and infect them as well. Although the worm did no damage to the servers, the huge amount of traffic it generated slowed everything to a crawl. I heard one "expert" opining that, "it looked like someone who didn't want to do too much damage, but merely to show off their technical skills, by staging the attack on the weekend where it would not interrupt too much business" or words to that effect.

I have only two responses to that
1) Hogwash
2) Trial Run.
