My Wife Will Love This
It has been a source of some environmental guilt in our place that we use a dishwasher. Accordingly my wife, who is vastly better at packing inflexible objects into a structured space than I will ever be, ensures that the machine does not run unless it is packed to the gunwales.
My one complaint is that I think there ought to be more room between the items to encourage/ enable turbulence. This strategy allows me to get away with only 80% of her packings.
But the one thing we agree on is that using the thing is environmentally dubious at best. Now, Nature Magazine says, thank god, Doing the Dishes Wastes Water and Energy .
