RIAA, MPAA target file sharing on corporate networks
The RIAA and MPAA have distributed brochures to Fortune 1000 companies warning that they may face legal action for copyright violations carried out by their employees.
The guide, published jointly by trade groups for the industries and titled "A Corporate Policy Guide to Copyright Use and Security on the Internet," requests that companies take steps to ensure their computer and Internet systems are not being utilized for film and music piracy.
