Bio	I've been thinking about what I want from and for this journal. What I want from this journal is a place where I can express the part of me that I have kept back for too long. I've kept it hidden, but I could never make it go away. It's still here, under my skin, aching to be released. What I want for this journal is for it to be more about my thoughts than about my life. It's my personal "Quest for Fire". I want it to be a place where I can allow the more creative and artistic parts of me to be revealed. Not just revealed, but reveled in! I want this to be a place where I allow myself to glow. Poetic? yes. Sexy? I hope so. Thoughtful? yes. Pretentious? Maybe, but I refuse to self censor because something may sound "pretentious" until I find my spark again. I expect my posts to be fewer, but more authentic. And I expect the titles of my posts to be poetic, in the sense that I'm capturing a mental picture with a few words. And it is for, and all about, me. Eventually, I hope to find a way to express myself and be in connection with others. But for now, I'm walking through the fire by myself and hoping to finally, finally burn.
