Browse User Ratings

Registered users of the Internet Movie Database are able to cast votes on a 1-10 scale for titles in the IMDb. Once more than 5 votes have been collected for any title, a user rating is created using a weighted average of the votes. Below you'll find a variety of ways to browse and search for films based on those ratings.

Tops & Bottoms

Below is a table you may recognize as part of our Top Movies page. Except in the case of the Top 250 and 100 Worst, the pages linked will present a top 50 and bottom 10 for each category.

Search for Titles

You can use the form below to search for titles within a certain rating range and having a minimum number of votes. Additionally, fields are supplied to specify a genre, year, or range of years. Browse by Letter

You can peruse an alphabetical list of all films for which there are user ratings (i.e. with more than five user votes on the 1-10 scale). Click on a letter below to see a list of titles beginning with that letter. TV series, miniseries, and films with titles that start with numbers, symbols or foreign characters will be under "Other."
